Abstract

Genetics is the science of trait from the parent to the descendant. In biology, genetics pass a series of genes unification process that takes place in the chromosome. The results of genes unification will form the nature and character of the generation. This particular genetic process also applies in graph theory. Genetics on graph theory is divided into two: breeding and parthenogenesis. This present study elaborated a single type of genetic processes that was parthenogenesis which is applied on a Petersen graph. Through the similar process to genetics in biology, Petersen graph will be reconstructed and combined with other graphs (gene) in purposes to create a descendant or a new graph with new nature and characteristic. Based on the result of parthenogenesis on this Petersen graph, there was derived a graph which has 18 edges and 12 vertices, isomorphism toward another Petersen graph, Hamiltonian, and has 3 girth and symmetric.

Abstract

More than 13 countries in the Americas have reported sporadic Zika virus infection that show very rapid geographic expansion. While in Indonesia, the euphoria is also increasingly prevalent virus discussed especially after the discovery of Jambi positive patients infected with the virus Zika on January 26, 2016 last.Viruses transmitted by mosquito bites to humans are the same mosquito transmits dengue fever, chikungunya and yellow fever with symptoms that have similar resemblance to the zika virus. Based on similarity of symptoms of infection with dengue virus, can be analyzed using sequence alignment to get identical percentage, local alignment calculation, genetic mutation and the spread of the zika virus to Indonesia. From the whole process, Smith Waterman algorithm can be used to align dengue virus type 1, type 2, type 3, and type 4 with zika virus (Jambi). Mutations between dengue virus and zika virus on average 28% of dissimilarity sequences in the same position between the sequence. Overall, the dengue virus type 1 mutation to the zika virus was 28.2723%, the dengue virus type 2 mutation to the zika virus was 28.1984%, the dengue virus type 3 mutation to the zika virus 27.9373% and the mutation of dengue virus type 4 to the zika virus of 28.7206%. By looking at all mutations, from the simulation results note that the mutations of both viruses include mutation type I. The phylogenetic tree showed the spread of the Zika virus to Indonesia, originally from South Africa, the islands of Chile, Caledonia, the Philippines, Yap Micronesia, Thailand, Cambodia, and finally reached Indonesia. Zika virus jambi suspected of dengue virus mutation because a few years earlier there was a dengue virus outbreaks in a long time in Jambi, it turns out the virus zika jambi is not from mutation dengue virus but the virus comes from the Asian region.

Abstract

In the stock market, stock price prediction is an important issue for the perpetrators of capital transactions to help making the right decision. Most traders have their own application software to predict the stock price so that it can be decided would buy the shares or sell them. By using a neural networks, prediction of stock prices can be done by using the backpropagation algorithm. Artificial neural networks can be used either to predict the level or price of the stock index, stock movement (trend), and the return earned on stocks. This study discusses the use of techniques Backpropagation Neural Network to predict the stock price closing (Close) in AKR Tbk (AKRA Corporindo) engaged in the petroleum, chemical, logistics, manufacturing and coal are simulated in Matlab. Of some testing done, the prediction results obtained are very close to the price actually with very small MSE value.

Abstract

Quality of education is the educational services ability that can fill the needs or expectations, satisfaction internally and externally which includes educational inputs, processes and outputs. The purpose of this reserach is to classify the quality of high school education in Lamongan District using factor, cluster and discriminant analysis. The dominant factors of 12 education quality variables can be known from the results of factor analysis using the PCA (Principal Component Analysis) method. The grouping of 48 high schools did by cluster analysis using 5 hierarchical methods. The validity index used to determine the optimal group number of the five hierarchical methods is RMSSTD (Root Mean Square Standard Deviation). The classification accuracy testing uses discriminant analysis based on the results of factor analysis and cluster analysis. Grouping the quality of education is influenced by dominant factors such as the number of classrooms, the value of accreditation, the number of certification and non-certification teachers, the number of education staff, the ratio of students to teachers, the number of laboratory rooms that can be known from the results of factor analysis. In cluster analysis, using the Mahalanobis distance because there is multicollinearity and the smallest RMSSTD index value obtained in the Complete Linkage method with 5 clusters. So, with discriminant analysis, it can be concluded that the grouping based on factor analysis and cluster analysis is 58.3% of the 48 processed data that has been entered in the group that matches the original data.

Abstract

Purchasing data is very important for business actors because the data is very influential on companies, especially in the field of production and marketing. Therefore, the purchase data is one of the things that is kept secret by the business actors, such as PT Lamongan Marine Industry. With current technology hackers can easily hack such data, so the use of cryptography is a very appropriate solution to this problem. In this study the authors used the Vigenere Cipher algorithm and the RSA algorithm with a high security key. The hacker was not easy to find out the contents of the data. The data obtained is a purchase order, then presented in tabular form. The data is then encrypted and decrypted so that the comparison of the two algorithms is known. The results of the analysis state that the Vigenere Cipher algorithm is more effective in both encryption and decryption processing time. Ciphertext generated from the encryption process of the Vigenere Cipher algorithm is mostly in the form of punctuation, while the ciphertext generated by the RSA algorithm from the encryption process is mostly in alphabetical letters. The ciphertext generated by the RSA algorithm depends on the value of the modulo. but in terms of security the RSA algorithm is superior to the Vigenere Cipher algorithm.

Abstract

Graph theory can be applied in various fields of science such as transportation problems, communication networks, operations research, chemistry, cartography and so on. Graph theory does not only represent structure but in its application, a graph can also be colored. Many problems have graph coloring characteristics such as regional coloring. This regional coloring theory was applied to the map area of Sukodadi District which consists of 20 villages. In this area coloring uses the Greedy algorithm by first making a dual graph consisting of 20 vertices and 43 edges. Based on the results of regional coloring, the minimum number of colors is 4, namely red, blue, green and yellow, with each neighboring village having a different color.
