Abstract

A company needs to improve performance, especially in terms of quality in the effort to defend itself and compete with other companies. One of the ways the company in improving its quality is by improving the Quality Management System that has been used. The implementation of QUALITY Management System ISO 9001:2015 in the company is an appropriate step to win competition, especially in conducting print planning in the printing industry. PPIC is a department that has a very important function as Product Planning and Control of material supplies in every activity related to production activities in printing, so there needs to be the implementation of an integrated and sustainable Quality Management System. Fulfillment of ISO requirements is an important step that must be taken in order for the company to officially receive iso certificate This study uses descriptive writing method, using observation data collection method, interview, and library study. Implemented in iso 9001:2015 certified companies. The results showed ppp or PPIC units or other designations in the company have met the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. In the implementation of the fulfillment of the requirements there are some obstacles that can be overcome such as administrative processes that have not been implemented properly. In addition, the supporting factor for the implementation of the most important requirements is the full support of management.Keywords— PPIC, ISO 9001:2015, Quality Management System

Abstract

Newspaper printing production processes cannot be separated from the problems that affect printed results and excessive waste. So in a printing company, quality control is needed in order to get good printing results and minimize the amount of waste. The print quality results in a company have several shortcomings such as unsuitable colors, and difficulty to get the register when printing. Apart from the aforementioned shortcomings, there are also factors that cause excessive waste, namely scumming, register disturbances, not sharp printouts, set-off, ghosting, and broken paper. How to solve problems that affect print quality and excess waste by cleaning the ink roll, adjusting the leg according to the proof, adjusting the pressure cylinder pressure, and adjusting the volume of wetting water. From the problems found, the print quality results in a printing company need to be increased so that the amount of waste generated is not too much or too much.Keywords— Print Quality, Waste, Quality Control

Abstract

Ivory paperboard is a type of cardboard consisting of 2 or more layers and is commonly used for primary packaging. The formulation of the research problem is how the process of testing the properties of 250-gram ivory paperboard and the results of testing the properties of ivory paperboard based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for duplex cardboard. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the physical properties, opacities, and chemical properties of 250-gram ivory paperboard and to determine the suitability of the paperboard that was tested with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for duplex cardboard. The research method used in this research is the quantitative method and testing method based on Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 0123: 2008 Duplex Carton. Based on test data obtained by ivory paperboard 250 grams, gramatur 247,573 gr / m2, mass density 766,479 kg / m3, pull resistance (picking) in good condition, oil penetration 7,852, water absorption 29.54 gr / m2, properties folds on MD (not broken), CD (broken), degree of whiteness (brightness) 82.52%, sheet composition on the top layer (chemical layer), the water content of 5.22%. So from the income, 250-gram ivory paperboard is in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 0123: 2008 Duplex cardboard.Keywords— Ivory paperboard, Print quality properties, Indonesian National Standard 0123:2008 Duplex Carton.

Abstract

Duplex cartons will be one type of carton that is widely used as a primary or second packaging. Duplex cartons have hygroscopic properties that can be salted on the physical and quality of the carton duplex. The value of this Final Task paper is the way of quality of cardboard in the field and the efforts of the process and who is in the field champion of The Indonesian National Standard (SNI 0123:2008). While the purpose of this writing is For those who know the process of creation of duplex carton quality 350 gr / m2, To understand the results of the creation of the quality of both duplex cartons from different companies, and For to dye the quality of cartons 350 gr / m2 in the market of different companies. Which method in writing this Final Task paper is the Task Related to Indonesian National Standards (SNI 0123:2008). Located from the creation and duparan quality of its own results, the two duplex cartons there are different qualities, for the production of PT X. Cobb value which is passionate and quality questions according to SNI 0123:2008 while for the production of PT Y. brightness value who can not be questioned sni 0123:2008. SNI 0123:2008 was prepared with the purpose of standardization, but the standard provisions were not met and not supervised in companies that do not apply sni standard 0123:2008, but in companies that apply sni standard 0123:2008 found also incompatible, therefore it is recommended to be carried out monitoring periodically.Keywords— Quality duplex carton, Duplex Carton, SNI 0123:2008

Abstract

The printing industry is an industry that focuses on printing results. Controlling the consistency of print colors is a very important matter in order to be able to produce a package through printed packaging with good quality. Some aspects that affect color consistency are wetting water and engine maintenance, besides that there are still many aspects that have an effect. Good quality is seen from several factors and one of them is the color of the print. To produce good print quality, it is necessary to maintain color consistency during the printing process in order to minimize the possibility of printing out of color range. This study aims to find the factors that influence the consistency of the color of the packaging print. Descriptive method is used in this research, with the approach of field observations and in-depth interviews. Analysis of the results using the Fishbone diagram. The findings that have been recorded are several findings, both in print aspects, aspects that affect print color and problems controlling the consistency of print colors. Print aspects that need to be considered are colors, registers, and text. Aspects that affect the color of the print are wetting water, printing ink, machine, and ink roll. factors that must be considered in order to create a quality printed packaging that is consistent with color, including man, machine, material, method, measurement, and environment factors.
