Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul Kepemimpinan Lelaki Sasak dalam Novel “Lalu” Karya Randa Anggarista (Kajian Kepemimpinan Transformasional) ini membahas tentang isu yang tidak akan pernah bosan untuk diperbincangkan. Apalagi isu yang ada dalam penelitian ini merupakan suatu hal yang sangat layak untuk dimunculkan. Kajian tentang model atau gaya kepemimpinan lelaki Sasak dapat dikatakan cukup memberikan pandangan bagi semua orang yang ingin mengetahui ciri khas kepemimpinan orang Sasak. Dalam novel Lalu karya Randa Anggarista ini mengungkap persoalan demi persoalan yang timbul di setiap sisi kehidupan lelaki Sasak sebagai sosok pemimpin bagi keluarga dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu novel Lalu karya Randa Anggarista yang diterbitkan oleh penerbit Sanabil pada tahun 2020. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca dan catat. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan identifikasi, klasifikasi, interpretasi, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian dalam kepemimpinan lelaki Sasak dalam novel Lalu karya Randa Anggarista ini, seperti 1) memimpin dengan menyandarkan pengharapan kepada Tuhan. 2) memimpin dengan ketegasan. 3) memimpin dengan cara memberikan motivasi. 4) memimpin dengan nasihat. 5) pemimpin yang pekerja keras. 6) memimpin dengan adil dan bijak.

Abstract

Abstract. The research, entitled Analysis of Language Errors in Thesis of IAIN Sorong Students, aims to find out language errors in the thesis of IAIN Sorong students seen from the use of spelling and linguistic level. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis approach. Sources of data in this study are the text of the introduction and abstract of the thesis of IAIN Sorong students. The results of this study include language errors made by IAIN Sorong students, such as spelling errors which include errors in writing capital letters, periods, and commas. Errors in the use of language at the phonological level include errors in writing phonemes due to absorption elements, excess phoneme writing, and errors in writing standard words. Furthermore, errors in language use at the morphological level include affixation, preposition, and reduplication. Finally, errors in language use at the syntactic level are in the form of not saving words in sentences.

Abstract

Abstract. This research discussed the implementation of language politeness principles in the virtual lecture context in the first semester at the English Tadris Study Program of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Sorong. This research objective was to examine speech acts of language politeness in the lecture process and to provide an overview of learning, teaching, and seeking independent information with the benchmark of language politeness principles. Thus, it can be seen the extent to which students and lecturers understand and apply the language politeness principles in the virtual lecture context in the first semester of the English Language Tadris Study Program of State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Sorong. This research used a qualitative approach as a methodological approach and a pragmatic study as a theoretical approach. The data collection technique in this research was the free-of-conversation listening technique, in which the researcher was not involved in the conversation. Researchers collected data by listening to lecture recordings or via the Zoom meeting application. The data was converted into written data. The results showed that in the lecture process, the interaction of lecturers and students complied with the six language politeness principles. The six principles included the tact maxim, modesty maxim, approbation maxim, agreement maxim, sympathy maxim, and generosity maxim. In addition, based on the conversations between lecturers and students, it appeared that the relationship between the two parties was harmonious, and no one felt dominated or dominated. Keywords: Students And Lecturers, Language Politeness Principles, And Speech Acts
