Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe two stay two stray dan problem based learning di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Stabat T.P 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yakni seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Stabat T.P 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari 2 kelas dan berjumlah 72 siswa, yang juga dijadikan sampel pada penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes berbentuk uraian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis varian (ANAVA), Hasil Penelitian menunjukan: 1). Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray dan model Problem Based Learning; 2). Tidak Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray dan Problem Based Learning; 3). Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray dan Problem Based Learning pada pada meteri Trigonometri; 4). Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan komunikasi matematis siswa. Kata kunci: Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah; Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis; Model Kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray; Model Problem Based Learning. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there are differences in problem-solving abilities and mathematical communication skills of students who are taught with a two-stay two-stray cooperative model and problem-based learning in class X SMA Negeri 1 Stabat T.P 2018/2019. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Stabat T.P 2018/2019 which consisted of 2 classes and amounted to 72 students, who were also sampled in this study. The instrument used is a test in the form of a description. Data analysis was carried out by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed: 1). There are differences in the problem-solving abilities of students who are taught with the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative model and the Problem Based Learning model; 2). There is no difference in the mathematical communication skills of students who are taught using the Two Stay Two Stray and Problem Based Learning cooperative learning model; 3). There are differences in problem solving skills and mathematical communication skills between students who are taught with the cooperative model Two Stay Two Stray and Problem Based Learning on the Trigonometry; 4). There is no interaction between the learning model on students' mathematical problem solving and communication skills.
