Abstract

As well as the growing influence of media mixing different grain size of the seed to growth frangipani Japan (Adenium crimsonstar). This study aims to determine the effect of mixing different media as well as the planting of seed size on seed growth frangipani Japan (Adenium crimsonstar). The study was conducted in April through July 2010, in the district of Ulu Loa Janan, Kutai regency. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 x 3 factorial analysis consisted of four replications. The first factor is the growing media 4 levels: m0: sand medium (control), m1: sand + fine brick (3: 1), m2: sand, ground roasted (3: 1), m3: finely + sand + bricks ground fuel (2 : 1: 1). The second factor is the size of the seed 3 levels: b1: weight 0,02gram / 0.9 to 1.0 cm long seed / seed, b2: 0,01gram / 0.5-0.7 cm long beans / seeds, b3: weight of 0,008 gram / seed length from 0.3 to 0.4 cm / seed. The results showed that treatment Growing Media significant effect on all parameters of the study. Treatment m2 (sand + soil fuel) showed the highest plant height is 5.44 cm, while the treatments m1 (fine brick sand +) showed the smallest plant height is 3.07 cm, the results showed that the different treatment of seed size did not significantly affect all parameter studies. Media interaction and different planting seed size showed no significant difference in all parameters of the study.

Abstract

Effect of tillage and plant spacing on growth and yield of onion tiwai (Eleutherine americana Merr.). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the response of the growth and yield of onion tiwai to the treatment and processing of soil and plant spacing parameters diperlakukan.Penelitian was conducted for 3 months starting in December 2009 until March 2010, research carried out in Loa Janan Ulu Kutai regency. This research is a randomized block design Plots Divided (RAK split plot) with 2 x 3 factorial design, each treatment was repeated three times, the first factor of tillage (T) is t0: without tillage (control) t1: with processing soil, while the second factor is the spacing of (J) is j1: 20 x 25 cm, j2: 25 x 30 cm and j3: 30 x 35 cm. The results showed that treatment of tillage (T) real berpengauh on plant height parameter ages of 30 and 60 days after planting, the number of chicks aged 60 and 90 days after planting, planting tuber number, tuber weight perpetak and tuber production tons per hectare, on plant height parameter of age 90 days after planting and the parameters of the number of seedlings 30 days after planting showed no significant effect. At the treatment plant spacing (J) on all parameters showed no significant effect, ie plant height ages 30, 60 and 90 days after planting, the number of chicks aged 30, 60 and 90 days after planting, the number of tubers, tuber weight and tuber production tons perpetak per hectare. Interaction between tillage and planting distance (T x J) also showed no significant effect on all parameters: plant height is age 30, 60 and 90 days after planting, the number of chicks aged 30, 60 and 90 days after planting, the number of bulbs, heavy perpetak bulbs and tubers production tons per hectare.

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the growing of Hevea brasiliensis Muell Erg) Klon GT1 on the Plant Media and Application of Rootone-F Consentration, as well as its interaction, and to find the proper concentration of Rootone-F for Hevea brasiliensis Muell Erg) Klon GT1. The research lasted for four months, from Februari to Mei 2009, at the Village of Loa Bakung Sub District of Samarinda. The research employed Completely Randomized Design with Factorial 4 x 4 and three replications. The first factor was Plant Media (M): top soil (m0); top soil + gambut + sand (2:1:1) (m1); top soil + gambut (3:1) (m2); top soil + sand (3:1) (m3). And the second factor was Rootone-F Consentration (D): no Rootone-F (d0); 2,5 g/litre water (d1); 5 g/litre water (d2); 7,5 g/litre water (d3). Results showed that: (1) significant responses the plant media on the parameters of height plant, number of leaf at the stage of 60 and 90 old days and diameter of stem; (2) significant responses on the application of Rootone-F on the parameters of height plant, number of leaf at the stage of 60 and 90 old days and diameter of stem; (3) there was no significant responses on all parameters upon the interaction between plant media and Rootone-F application.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of Widya Gama Mahakam University Samarinda, Faculty of Agriculture, Jalan KH. Wahid Hasyim. The study was conducted in January - April 2020. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors and 3 replications. The first factor was the application of banana stem compost with various concentrations of EM4 consisting of 4 levels, namely P0 = banana stem compost without EM4, P1 = banana stem compost with EM4 concentration of 50 ml L-1 water, P2 = banana stem compost with EM4 concentration of 75 ml. L-1 water, P3 = banana stem compost with a concentration of EM4 100 ml L-1 water and the second factor is the dose of urea fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely, D0 = control, D1 = 1 g urea / polybag, D2 = 2 g urea / polybag, D3 = 3 g urea / polybag. The results of the research giving banana stem compost with variations in the concentration of EM4 and the dose of urea fertilizer and the interaction of the two treatments had a very significant effect on plant height at the age of 20, 40, 60 and 80 DAS, with the best treatment P3 = 28.67 cm, D3 = 28, 21 cm and P3D3 = 32.33 cm, then had a very significant effect on the number of shoots at the age of 60 and 80 DAS with the best treatment P3 = 6.67 fruit, D3 = 6.17 fruit and P3D3 = 8.33 fruit, and very influential significant on the number of leaves at the age of 40, 60 and 80 DAS with the best treatment P3 = 8.58 strands, D3 = 8.83 strands and P3D2 = 10.67 strands.

Abstract

Low soil fertility rates and not yet intensive crop cultivation have an impact on the declining trend on tomato production in the eastern multiplication. Low productivity of tomatoes due to low quality of seedlings and pest and disease attacks. Efforts to increase tomato production have been carried out, among others, by improving cultivation techniques, namely by improving the physical properties of the soil by adding organic materials and adding nutrients using inorganic fertilizers. The design of this study is; Complete randomized design with factorial analysis 2 x 4 and repetition as much as 3 times.  In the first factor, the media mixture consists of 2 levels, namely T0 = Soil, T1 = Mixture of soil, manure, and chaff (2:1:1). The second factor is the combination of fertilizer K and P consists of 4 stages, namely: P0 = without fertilizer, P1 = 5gram KCL and 15grams SP-36, P2 = 10 grams KCL and 15 grams SP-36; P3 = 15 grams KCL and 15 grams SP-36. The number of polybags in the study is 24 with a per polybag size of 30 x 40 cm. The results showed the addition of manure and chaff gave clear results to the growth and production of tomatoes. The application of KCl and SP-36 fertilizers affect the high growth of plants but does not affect the production of tomato plants. Recommendations for the use of organic materials and KCL fertilizers, SP-36 is applied separately
