Abstract

Background: The division of the economic class of society consisting of upper,middle and lower economic classes, this is the problem and what factors cause it to occur. From observations, it can be seen that the community only purchases medicine if it is in an urgent situation because of illness, not for the long term,such as supplies / reserves. Purpose: Knowing the description of the purchase of herbal Against ATP (Ability To Pay) independent financing in the community of North Banjarmasin Region. Methods: This study used an analytic observational method with a cross sectional design, which was carried out by confinient sampling using a geogle form method in North Banjarmasin District from October to November 2020 totaling 30 people, taken using random sampling technique Data were analyzed by describing the characteristics of each variable using the mean, median and standard deviation values, usually this analysis only produces a frequency distribution and the percentage of each variable. Result: Cost of buying medicine <Rp. 250.000 in a month as many as 18 respondents (60.0%) and respondents who bought medicine> Rp. 250.000 in a month were 12 respondents (40.0%). The average ability to pay the respondent is Rp. 120,666 with the highest ability to pay Rp. 220,000 and the lowest ability to pay Rp. 20,000. As for herbal medicine that people often buy are Antangin JRG (16.7%). Conclusion: Most of society has ability to buy herbal remedies (ability to pay) in moderate categories That is (27.1%) at the cost of public which spending still less rp. < Rp.250.000. Whereas the average society in buying herbal remedies is rp. 171,833 and the average of society’s ability to buy herb medicine is Rp 120,666 so that average society’s ability to buy herb medicines (ability to pay) can Said still low compared with average of income that is Rp.2,720,000 and average of society expense is 1.530.000 in North Banjarmasin area, Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Antibiotik merupakan obat untuk pengobatan infeksi yang disebabkan oleh berbagai bakteri. Antibiotik saat ini banyak beredar di masyarakat sebagai salah satu obat umum. Periode awal remaja adalah masa transisi menuju tahap dewasa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja dalam penggunaan antibiotik. Kegiatan dilakukan pada hari Sabtu, 23 Juli 2022 di Pondok Pesantren Darul  Istiqamah secara daring. Jumlah peserta dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 31 orang yaitu terdiri dari perwakilan kelas X, kelas XI dan kelas XII SMA. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode ceramah. Metode ini dilakukan dengan memberikan edukasi secara langsung menggunakan media power point. Hasil penyuluhan siswa SMA Pondok Pesantren Darul Istiqomah dengan nilai pretes baik sebanyak 10 siswa (32,25%) dan buruk sebanyak 21 siswa (67,74%). Setelah pemberian penyuluhan dilakukan penilaian kembali dengan nilai postest baik sebanyak 23 siswa (74,19%) dan buruk sebanyak 8 siswa (25,8%). Kesimpulan dari penyuluhan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa dalam hal ini remaja dalam penggunaan antibiotik. Kata Kunci: Antibiotik, Remaja, Penyuluhan, Resistensi Antibiotics are drugs to prevent and treat infections caused by bacteria. As one of the common types of drugs, antibiotics are widely circulated in the community. The early adolescent stage is a transitional period from the stage of adulthood. The activity was carried out on Saturday, 23 July 2022 at the Darul Istiqamah Islamic Boarding School in a brave manner. The number of participants in this activity was 31 people consisting of representatives from class X, class XI and class XII SMA. The implementation method in this community service activity is a lecture. This method is done by providing education directly with power point media. The results of the counseling showed that there were differences in knowledge of the use of antibiotics in students of SMA Pondok Pesantren Darul Istiqomah with good pretest scores of 10 students (32.25%) and bad as many as 21 students (67.74%). After the counseling was given, a re-judgment was carried out with good posttest scores for 23 students (74.19%) and bad for 8 students (25.8%). The conclusion of this counseling can increase students' knowledge in this case teenagers in the use of antibiotics.
