Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah PT. Way Kandis belum menggunakanmetode peramalan yang tepat untuk memprediksi permintaan akan karetremah SIR 20 yang terus berfluktuasi. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalampenelitian ini adalah menentukan metode peramalan terbaik untukmemproyeksikan permintaan karet remah SIR 20 untuk periode jangkamenengah yaitu bulan Maret 2014 sampai dengan Agustus 2014. Metodeperamalan yang tepilih nantinya akan digunakan untuk mengetahuipersediaan pengaman (safety stock) pada perusahaan. Hasil dari peramalanakan dibandingkan dengan permintaan aktualnya dan dihitung nilai kesalahanperamalannya. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data primer dansekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan wawancara langsung dengan pihakterkait, sedangkan data sekunder berupa data permintaan karet remah SIR 20dari Januari 2009 sampai dengan Februari 2014 yang diperoleh dari PT. WayKandis serta pengolahan data dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif. Metodeperamalan terbaik yaitu metode kombinasi antara metode winter dandekomposisi, dengan persentase kesalahan peramalan sebesar 29.019%.Tingkat kesalahan peramalan dibandingkan dengan permintaan aktual padabulan Maret 2014 sampai dengan Juni 2014 adalah 18.81%.

Abstract

Facility layout design is the main foundation in a production and work area layout system employing the width to place machines or other supporting production facilities and to make it easier for moving materials in order to achieve orderly, safety, and comfortable work condition and material flow. The improvement proposal done on facility layout of wallet industry uses CRAFT method with WinQSB V2.0 software. Later, the facility layout improvement will change some area of the facility in accordance to the material flow, so that the distance of flowing and handling cost can be reduced. The total of handling cost of the wallet industry’s facility layout before the improvement is amounted to IDR 785.000,-. Meanwhile, the total of handling cost in the improvement proposal is amounted to IDR 563.100,-. Based on the result of handling cost before and after the improvement, the percentage difference is 28,26%.Keywords: Wallet Industry, Layout Proposal, CRAFT Method

Abstract

Climate change which is triggered by a consumptive human culture continues to be a concern for many parties to be tackled. Shoes have become the primary need of urban communities because of their function that cannot be separated from their daily activities. Shoes that are purchased by consumers are usually packaged in cardboard boxes that follow the components of the contents, namely the shoes and accessories inside. In this case, shoeboxes with the right design and function according to consumer preferences will reduce the likelihood that the shoeboxes are thrown into the trash. Although it is not the centre of consumer attention, shoe boxes remain a necessity in the final production process. It is necessary to design and develop a shoebox product that is in accordance with the final function of the shoebox according to consumer interests. This study uses the QFD method which produces quality 1 houses with communication tools in the form of a preliminary questionnaire to 30 respondents and a follow-up questionnaire to 100 respondents. Concept selection was carried out on the eight alternative concepts developed. The shoebox concept chosen to take into account the desires of the consumer will be made with a sporty shoebox standard size of 22.5 x 12.3 x 32.5 cm. The environmentally friendly shoebox can be seen through the installation of plastic straps which are expected to reduce the use of single-use plastics. In addition, the shoebox is made with an innovative design so that users can use it repeatedly as shoe storage or multipurpose box.

Abstract

Helmet is a product that is generally used when riding a motorcycle, the function of the helmet is to protect body parts especially the head when accident while driving. Many of helmet product still have deficiency both in terms of form of function, in this case helmet products still have any problems in their function. The shape of the helmet that is already on the market does not pay attention to the needs of the community if the helmet is exposed to rain when stored in the outdoor. The planning and development of helmet products is then processed using Quality Function Development (QFD). The customer need regarding customer products are half face shaped helmet, full face shaped helmet, flip up shaped helmet, lightweight helmet shell materials, strong helmet shell materials, strong helmet locking locks, visor material is not easily scratched, visor material is not easily broken, visor material is not easily to blur, foam helmet is easily to clean, foam helmet is soft, foam helmet is not easily to moldy, cloth helmet is soft on the face, helmet cloth is easily to absorb sweat, cloth helmet is not easy to smell, helmet lock is easy to install, helmet in solid colour, helmet with patterned appearance, and helmet there are added feature waterproof. The technical characteristics of helmet product are the type of the shell material, the shape of the shell, the weight of the shell, the colour of the shell, the type of visor material, the colour of the visor, the type of foam material, the type of fabric material, the type of locking material, and additional features of waterproof helmet. The specification of the proposed helmet are the type of shell material in the form of ABS plastic, the shape of the helmet is half face, the weight of the helmet is 2 kg, the colour of the helmet is solid (black), the type of the visor is polycarbonate, the colour of the visor is transparent, the type of material foam is polystyrene, the type of fabric is the velor fabric, the type of locking material is quick release buckle, and additional feature are waterproof in the form of cover of taslan fabric.

Abstract

A cinema is a movie theater. The development of cinema is very significant both in terms of facilities and technology. These facilities and technology are useful for attracting consumers to watch in the cinema. However, cinema still has problems with audience order. The first problem of order is in the cinema seats. This problem occurs because some spectators do not sit according to the seat number that has been booked on the cinema ticket and are free to move seats so that it can interfere with the comfort of the audience. This problem occurs when the cinema theater seats are not full. The second problem of order is at the theater exit. The problem occurred during the film, some audience members entered the theater through the exit door without paying the ticket in advance because the exit door was not locked and no one was guarding it. The design of the innovative cinema chair product is a cinema chair using an RFID Tag. The method used to design the product is Quality Function Deployment and is described using CATIA software. The customer needs for cinema chairs products are strong cinema chair frames, strong cinema seat foam pads, soft cinema seat fabric/cover, soft cinema seat foam, medium-sized cinema chairs, solid color cinema chairs and additional features of RFID. The technical characteristics of cinema chairs are iron material, wood material, cloth material, foam material, length dimension, width dimension, height dimension, color variation and RFID innovation. Cinema chair product specifications consist of the type of cinema chair material is black powder coating iron, multiplex wood, velvet fabric, foam foam, seat length dimensions of 76 cm, seat width dimensions of 57 cm, seat height dimensions of 110 cm, fabric color is solid and the additional feature is RFID.

Abstract

The development of multifunctional drinking bottles as well as tissue storage is one of the needs and desires of customers. This product requires further analysis of what costs are used through the calculation of cost estimates. The system development in this study applies the full costing method. The use of this full costing method works by calculating the overall cost of product development through the calculation of the cost of production, selling price and break-even point obtained from collecting data on labor costs, raw materials, factory overhead, production quantities and selling prices. The results of this study obtained the total cost of raw materials for a period of 1 month with a total of Rp. 243.250.000,-, the cost of production with the amount of Rp. 260,462,247,-, the selling price per unit is Rp. 104,184.90, - with a profit of 30%, namely Rp. 78,138,674 and the break-even point of Rp. 372.626.70,- and 1904 units of multifunctional drinking bottle products as well as tissue storage.

Abstract

Kemasan yang digunakan oleh UMKM masih sangat sederhana sehingga produk kurang diminati dan pasarnya. Salah satu produk UMKM makanan khas tradisional adalah keripik tike, makanan ringan khas Indramayu. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM, perlu dilakukan perancangan kemasan produk keripik tike agar lebih unik dan menarik dengan memper­timbangkan persepsi konsumen. Perancangan ulang kemasan ini mengguna­kan pendekatan metode kansei engineering dan model kano yang dilakukan melalui survey. Kansei engineering dapat menerjemahkan persepsi konsumen terhadap desain dan model kano dapat mengidentifikasi kualitas atribut sehingga diperoleh 114 kansei words dan 10 atribut kemasan penilaian model kano. Selanjutnya dari integrasi kedua metode maka dibuatlah beberapa alternatif desain kemasan untuk dipilih. Terdapat 3 alternatif desain kemasan keripik tike yang dibuat dengan desain kemasan terpilih adalah alternatif 2 karena memberikan seluruh informasi yang dibutuhkan pada kansei word awal. Informasi yang disampaikan konsep desain alternatif terpilih adalah pada bagian depan dan belakang kemasan adalah terdapat expired date, komposisi produk, logo halal, label perusahaan, informasi cara penyimpanan, informasi manfaat produk, tanggal produksi, gambar, gambar produk, informasi rasa, dan legalitas produk, dan menggambarkan bahan utama rasa.

Abstract

This study discusses one of the cinemas in the city of Depok, West Java where the object of research is cinema seats. Adding RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), so you don't know the cost budget and time to accelerate project completion using the CPM method to solve problems. CPM (Critical Path Method) is an analytical technique for planning, scheduling and project control using the critical path method with a single estimate for the duration of an activity. The results of the study using the CPM method produced a budget of IDR 2,580,000 million for normal costs using normal time, while for costs that were accelerated by carrying out the analysis phase to speed up project time, it was IDR 2,890,000 million. The results of the CPM method for accelerating project time explain that activity A is preparation for preparing tools and materials. Activity B is making a foam pattern consisting of a seat, back, and armrests. Activity C is making patterns on oscar velvet which consists of seats, backs, and armrests. Activity D is foam cutting which consists of a seat, back, and armrests. Activity E is cutting Oscar's velvet fabric which consists of a seat, backrest, and armrests. Activity F installation of plastic shells for seat, backrest and arms. Activity G installation of seats, backrests, and armrests using hinge gears. Activity H RFID Installation. Activity I trial RFID. Activity J is the installation of chairs onto black powder coating iron. produces a normal time of 74 minutes, while for an accelerated time it can be 69 minutes by doing the compressing stage.

Abstract

Study portable desks can help people easily move from one another place. Using a study portable desk would make users fix the position once a few moments so that they risk experiencing bodily discomfort. Analysis indications of posture risk can be done by selecting launch rapid upper limb assessment (RULA) analysis from the ergonomic tools toolbar in CATIA software. This research aims to identify movements that occur when using a portable study desk and to analyze user posture risks that can be experienced when using a portable study desk. Based on the research results, it is known that the body posture of portable study desk users for group A on the upper arms is in the range of 20-45°, and the lower arms are in the range of 60-100°. The wrist enters the neutral position range. The rotation of the wrist can be seen that the hand is pointing inward. It has a degree of freedom of 90° with a maximum flexion angle of 160° and a minimum extension angle of 0°. Group B body posture for the stem body has a degree of freedom of 0°. The legs experience a slight downward movement with a degree of freedom of 6.061° and a maximum flexion angle of 135°. Posture analysis results for body parts. Details of the upper arm, forearm, wrist, and wrist twist have a score of 1, which means no posture needs to be corrected and the posture is acceptable. Details of body parts, namely neck, trunk, and legs, are indicated in green, which means no posture needs to be corrected and the posture is acceptable. The score results for body parts with the static posture option get an assessment score of 2 with a green color indication, so it can be concluded that the risk indication for this posture is acceptable.

Abstract

Program penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki beberapa tujuan utama. Pertama, program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada siswa-siswi dalam kelompok bimbingan belajar di rumah baca ABADIBA, Insan Citra Utama, Mutiara Qolbu Indonesia, dan Batin Al Birru Indonesia Jaya melalui kegiatan baca, tulis, dan berhitung. Kedua, program ini melibatkan pendampingan dalam manajemen dan administrasi perpustakaan di rumah baca yang sama. Ketiga, program ini menyediakan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan edukasi terkait kewirausahaan, inovasi, dan pembekalan ide usaha kewirausahaan kepada kelompok masyarakat UMKM dan masyarakat umum. Program ini fokus pada kelompok bimbingan belajar tingkat SD, SMP, dan SMA dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Selain itu, program juga mendukung komunitas UMKM dan masyarakat umum untuk memahami dan meningkatkan kemampuan berwirausaha. Tujuan akhirnya adalah meningkatkan hasil pendidikan, pelayanan perpustakaan yang lebih baik, dan ekonomi usaha yang dikelola oleh masyarakat. Namun, program ini menghadapi tantangan, terutama akibat pandemi COVID-19 dan penerapan PSBB. Beberapa kegiatan harus diubah dan disesuaikan dengan protokol COVID-19, seperti mengalihkan pelatihan masyarakat ke pendekatan virtual dan kelompok kecil.
