Abstract

A tendency to make liberation as paradigm to interpret holy book (al-Qur' an) is the new tendency. That is fonn of unsatisfaction into products of intepretation which is considered no relent ,with contemporary problems. Regarded the products of interpretation have ignored the revolutionary values that hare been being the ultimate mission of revelation. That is the Ali's reason to use hermeneutical approach in interpretating al Qur 'an. According to Ali Indian's conditions has relemncy with al-Qur 'an when revealed. In hermeneutical approach Ali explored the liberation and revolutionary values in the verses of Qur 'an. Ali has concluded that all verses of Qur'an have liberation values for who oppressed like in India.

Abstract

Abstract. The emergence of several high-quality and high-quality madrasah in major cities in Indonesia indicates that madrasah is not all inferior. From the above, there is a big question why madrasah can be excellent, but there are also those that are not qualified? Therefore, the existence of superior and good quality madrasah needs to be seen how the leadership of the madrasa head and what is underlying so that it becomes excellent. This study was approached with a qualitative research type of case study. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, semi-involved observations, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. To measure the validity of the data produced, standards are used; 1) trust, 2) degree of transferability, 3) dependence, and 4) certainty. It can be concluded that the spiritual, professional, and humanitarian values of the madrasa head are much articulated in the processes of managing superior madrasas. The success of the madrasa can be seen how the values and beliefs underlie the head of the madrasa in administering and making madrasas achieve their goals. These values and expectations greatly influence the behavior and practice of leadership, making superior madrassas, ranging from planning to evaluating them, and the procedures that go through them. This is in line with the findings of the literature on transformational spiritualist leadership that these values underlie the principals' leadership practices. The transformational spiritualist school principal delivered his institution towards the vision, mission, and goals with the strongest that spiritual, professional, and humanitarian and educational values were needed.Keywords: Spiritual Value; Professional; Humanist; Featured Madrasah.

Abstract

Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) is one of the government programs in order to regain reading interest in students. The meaning of literacy today is not merely meaning not being able to read, more than that literacy is related to understanding and sensitivity in relating it to life. Therefore the development of literacy is not only on the aspects of students but also all the components that can support the growth of literacy culture. The purpose of this study was to strengthen the literacy culture that had previously been built but was not optimal. Through mentoring, it is hoped that the culture built can be further strengthened by optimizing the function of the library as a learning resource. This article was written based on field studies in the form of dedication conducted at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Batu using ABCD aproach. The findings from the results of this study are that the optimization of library functions through workshops and capacity building activities for the library division team (komica) enriches their capacity as library ambassadors so that students who are members of the comica team more freely contribute to socializing library functions to colleagues other students in the MTs Negeri 1 Batu neighborhood by utilizing the IT capacity they obtain from workshops and capacity building activities.Keyword. Abstract

The success of madrasah can simply reflect values and beliefs owned by the leader of madrasah on what to achieve by the school. Additionally, values and beliefs are potentially influential on leadership practice of madrasah leader for the advancement of madrasah, started from the leadership processes and procedures. For the research focus is centered on the “process of phenomena” of how religious values of madrasah leader can organize the change of madrasah to be successful and is aimed at obtaining deep comprehension on the phenomena, this research purposively employs qualitative approach. Besides, this research uses case study in which the religious values data of excellent madrasah leader in controlling the madrasah transformation comprise complex, holistic, natural and multi-interpreted events. There are three technniques to collect the data, known as participant observation, indepth interview and study documentation. The data are analyzed by testing, categorizing, tabulating, or recombining of empirical proofs to construct initial propositions of research. The concluding remarks of this research exemplify that values and beliefs that underpin madrasah leader’s belief to control revolution in Islamic Elementari School (MIN) I Malang is strongly believed by madrasah leader in which the school processes are its articulation form. The religious beliefs and values of MIN 1 Malang leader are optimism, confidence, sincerity and tawakkal (trust in God) that are combined by four traits of prophet Muhammad, namely siddiq (honesty), tabligh (openly human relations), amanah (trustworthiness) and fathanah (intelligence).

Abstract

Managerial skill is an ability to perform a job base on a competence in which is done by objective and in collaboration with others. In education, leader’s skill of school as manager is an ability of school leader to do a tasks base on the ability competence in leading the objective through t he others. Whereas, the school leader who has the competence is getting of best of a work qualification that is agree with a work and in reality. The school leader who has a competence be able to do in his job effectively and efficiently. There are tree managerial skills those should be dominated by school leader: conceptual skill, technical skill, and skill for dealing with others. Keyword: Manajerial Skill, Madrasah, Quality.

Abstract

This article tries to discuss policy of international school that is the government's efforts to improve the quality of Indonesian education for belonging competitiveness among an others countries in the global era. One of them adopts international standards of OECD members as a key factor in addition as well as uses national education standards. In practice, international school policy starts to look some weaknesses, both conceptual and learning system. Like proverb says ‘there is no ivory that is not cracked’, so the government should perform various steps to improve the concept of international school by involving the various elements of education stakeholders and conduct in-depth research before the policy is decided.Key word: School, Madrasah, International
