Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to help UD.MM Collection in Sidoarjo who have problems with poor production management processes and financial management. This service method is in the form of providing shoe slip machines and financial management training through a simple cash book. The results obtained are UD. MM Collection can produce shoes faster because it already has a shoe slip machine with two slip sides, making it faster and more efficient. The results of the slip also have a smoother quality than the previous machine and save electricity. In addition, the machine is also equipped with a vacuum cleaner so that it is safer to use. The second result is UD. MM Collection can have neater financial records and know its financial position in terms of income, expenses, payables, and receivables.

Abstract

UKM Susu Kedelai Pak Abbas merupakan salah mitra UKM yang menjadi mitra di PKM ini. Dalam proses pembuatan susu kedelai Pak Abbas selama ini masih menggunakan peralatan konvensional atau tradisional yang membutuhkan waktu lama, untuk 150 liter susu kedelai membutuhkan waktu 14 jam yang dikerjakan oleh empat (4) karyawan. Proses pembuatannya yang membutuhkan banyak proses membuat waktu produksi lama diperparah dengan masih menggunakannya peralatan-peralatan yang tradisional seperti pada proses pemasakan masih menggunakan tungku api dan kayu bakar sehingga api yang dihasilkan tidak merata. Kemudian pada proses pendinginan masih dengan cara konvensional yaitu dibiarkan di udara sekitar yang memungkinan bakteri masuk ke susu kedelai dan pada proses packaging masih dengan cara konvensional. Oleh karena permasalahan di atas dibuatlah Mesin Pembuat Susu Kedelai Dilengkapi Pengemas Otomatis. Mesin ini dilengkapi temperature control untuk mengatur suhu api, kemudian terdapat teknologi heat exchanger pada proses pendinginan, dan timer control. Mesin ini menggunakan bahan stainless-steel 305 SS standar foodfrade pada komponen pisau. Berdasarkan hasil perancangan mesin diperoleh hasil bahwa proses pengirisan  meningkat 10 kali dan mampu memenuhi permintaan pasar.

Abstract

The implementation of this PKM program aims to solve problems in the production and management aspects of cracker SMEs “UD. JAYA ABADI” owned by M. Subhan Abadi which is located in Tlasih village, Tulangan, Sidoarjo. The production capacity of these cracker SMEs is 400 kg/day. Types of crackers produced include fish crackers, onion crackers, and shrimp crackers. The priority problem in the production aspect of Mitra cracker SMEs is the low productivity (quality and quantity) of the production of mixing the cracker dough and the priority problem in the management aspect is that there is no bookkeeping of business financial flows. The process of mixing the raw material for crackers at the partner cracker SMEs is done manually by hand and trampled underfoot with a production capacity of 50 kg/hour. The solution to solving the priority problems in the production aspect is carried out through the design of the dough mixer machine for raw materials for crackers, semi-automatic, mechanical, electric motors and reducers and solutions to solving financial management problems are carried out through training activities and assistance in accounting for business financial flows using a simple cash book. The results achieved from the implementation of the PKM program are: (1) a semi-automatic mechanical mixer for crackers, an electric motor and a reducer with a production capacity of 500 kg/hour, and (2) the implementation of better financial management, which has been carried out in an orderly manner. business financial flows using a simple cash book.

Abstract

IMPLEMENTATİON OF SEMİ-AUTOMATİC PNEUMATİC SYSTEM SHOE PRESS MACHİNE AND MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT TO INCREASE PRODUCTİVİTY OF BANJARSARİ SMALL SHOE INDUSTRY. The purpose of this PKM is to help resolve the priority problems of Syaifullah's small Banjarsari shoe industry, namely: 1) low quality and quantity of sole and upper gluing production, and 2) weak production management and financial management. To solve these problems, it is carried out through the implementation of a semi-automatic pneumatic system shoe press machine and improvement of production management and financial management. The method of implementing PKM to solve partner problems is carried out in stages: a) establishing partnerships with small shoe industry entrepreneurs, b) determining partner priority problems, c) designing machines, d) machine manufacturing, e) assembly, f) function testing, g) training machine operation and maintenance, h) machine delivery and implementation, i) management improvement training and assistance, and j) periodic monitoring. The result of this PKM is a semi-automatic pneumatic system shoe press machine that is effective and efficient and the management of small shoe industry partners has improved. The implementation of this shoe press machine is able to increase the quality of the adhesive strength and the quantity of production of leather shoe gluing in the small industry of partner shoes 3 times greater than the manual gluing process.
