Abstract

Kata kunci : pupuk kandang; pupuk Mo; kacang tanah ABSTRACTBased on USDA Soil Taxonomy by Soil Survey Staff (2014) Psament is a type of sandy soil that is poor in water and available nutrients, but can still be utilized with proper management. Peanut (Arachis hypogea L.) is the second secondary crop after soybean. On the island of Lombok, especially in Narmada District, peanut productivity is still very low because the technology package in peanut cultivation has not been implemented properly. This service aims to increase peanut production through the application of the right peanut cultivation technology package through the use of goat manure and micro nutrient (Mo) fertilization. This community service is carried out in Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. The activity method used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), lectures, followed by discussions/questions and answers, and continued with field practice through training on preparing ready-to-use manure, and its application through demonstration plots carried out in farmers' rice fields. The results of the activity showed that the community service participants were considered successful. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants during the training activities, the participants participated in collecting the basic ingredients of animal manure and micro fertilizer (Mo) and how to apply it. At the end of the activity, the farmer participants promised to apply the use of manure and micro fertilizer to increase the fertility of coarse/sand textured soil in applying peanut cultivation techniques. Farmers also hope that the Faculty of Agriculture or the team can provide sustainable assistance to farmers in the development of a sand textured soil management strategy in Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. Keywords: manure; Mo fertlizer; peanut.

Abstract

Red lettuce is one of the horticultural crops that has many benefits and can increase the economic income of farming families. Cultivation of red lettuce plants requires proper maintenance and fertilization to increase the yield of red lettuce plants. To complement nutrients, the addition of organic and NPK fertilizers is required. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of cow manure and NPK fertilizers 16:16:16 on soil properties and the growth of red lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa Var. Acephala). The method used in this research is an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) experiment consisting of two factors, namely factor I is cow manure (K) and factor II is Pearl NPK fertilizer (16:16:16) (P). Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that a total of 27 experimental polybags were obtained. The treatment with cow manure 10 tons/ha has the best value of C-organic (3.55%) and porosity (56.76%). The highest weight of wet stems of red lettuce plants was obtained in the treatment of 300 kg/ha NPK fertilizer and 10 tons/ha cow manure at 35.14 grams.
