Abstract

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the discovery of a new coronavirus. This disease occurs as a result of COVID-19 infection in the respiratory tract. Transmission of this disease occurs due to droplets when sneezing. Prevention and slowdown of transmission can be done by implementing health protocols. Respiratory etiquette includes using a mask, washing hands with a hand sanitizer, and using a safe hand-sanitizer stand. The propose of this social wellfare is to condact training on the manufacture of hansanitizer and foot hand sanitizer stands that are safe, inexpensive, and easy to manufacture and are needed by residents who are economically affected during the pandemic. The result of this service to the community has resulted in a hand-sanitizer stand prototype design that is easy and inexpensive to be made independently by the district.

Abstract

Saat ini, di jaman yang tidak menentu ini, ketahanan sektor industri tergantung pada proses produksinya yang efisien. Proses pembuatan gambar Teknik merupakan salah satu bagian dalam engineering design telah berubah dari proses pembuatan secara manual menjadi computerize dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Computer Aided Design. Saat ini variasi perangkat lunak untuk membuat gambar teknik beragam, diantaranya AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidworks, ProEng, CATIA dan lain sebagainya. Dampaknya industry membutuhkan tenaga kerja yang ahli dibidang design. SMK merupakan sekolah menengah kejuruan yang di rancang untuk menghasilkan tenaga kerja siap pakai. Salah satunya tenaga kerja di bidang perancangan. Pengabdian pada masyarakat dengan topik pengenalan dan pelatihan Computer Aided Design  bagi guru dan teknisi SMK ini menjadi sebuah kebutuhan. Harapannya, penguasaan bidang ini oleh guru dan teknisi SMK akan memungkinkan untuk peningkatan kompetensi siswa. Dampaknya kebutuhan tenaga trampil dibidang ini akan dapat terpenuhi. Metode pelatihan dilakukan dengan cara pertama pemilihan jenis perangkat lunak yang akan digunakan, kedua pembuatan materi pelatihan yang mudah untuk diserap peserta, ketiga pelaksanaan pelatihan dengan satu peserta satu computer, ke empat evaluasi pelatihan untuk perbaikan dimasa mendatang. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk pelatihan CATIA V5. Pemilihan perangkat lunak ini berdasarkan keunggulannya seperti mudah dipelajari, banyak digunakan di industri, dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk mempelajari perangkat lunak yang lain. Hasil pelatihan, peserta mampu membuat model tunggal dan susunan tiga dimensi dan gambar kerja dua dimensi.

Abstract

Research shown that the use of 17 drum hand sanitizers in the ICU surgical department was 100% contaminated with bacteria. During this pandemic, the transmission of the spread of the coronavirus must be reduced. You do this by using hand sanitizer liquid without touching the bottle. The economic conditions of the people who were affected during the pandemic have inspired to innovate existing hand sanitizer stand products. It is hoped that this research can produce a foot-operated hand sanitizer stand that is cheap and easy to manufacture. Innovation is done by making digital prototypes using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE). This research has produced a digital foot-operated hand sanitizer stand that is simple, easy to manufacture, and with materials that are easily available in the market.

Abstract

Cikidang Fishing Port, Pangandaran, West Java is located in the southern region of Java island which is directly opposite the Indian Ocean which has the potential for energy development, one of which is from wind. Wind is one of the natural resources that can be used as an alternative power generation source as a substitute for conventional fuel. From the results of observations on the average wind speed for seven days of v = 4.8 m/s. Based on the results of observations, a vertical axis wind turbine, namely Savonius, is planned as the drive of the power plant generator, with configurations in the shape of the rotor, namely the L type and helix type. In type L with a diameter of 1.1 meters, a height of 1.4 meters can receive kinetic energy = 60.96 Joules which has the potential to produce a rotor power of 110.87 Watts. While in the Helix type with a diameter of 1.1 meters, a height of 1.4 meters can receive 82,63 Joules which has the potential to produce a rotor power of 159.32 Watts. In the static structural simulation, for the Savonius L type wind turbine rotor with Aluminum Alloy material, it showed a total deformation of 12.239 mm, an equivalent elastic strain of 2.1252 x 10-4 mm, and an equivalent stress of 14.973 MPa at a rotor rotation speed of 83.4 RPM with a wind thrust force of 25.4 Newton. The Savonius Helix type wind turbine rotor with Aluminum Alloy material showed a total deformation of 11.74 mm equivalent elastic strain of 1.5941 x 10-5 mm, and an equivalent stress of 18.75 MPa at a rotor rotation speed of 83.4 RPM with a wind thrust force of 34.43 Newton.

Abstract

The Marginal Community with disabilities who are under the auspices of the Mekar Jaya organization in Guwosari village have a magot business unit. This effort has the potential to be able to prosper its members. The problem that exists for the process of making pellets for catfish feed is that it requires a magot drying process. Previously, this process was carried out traditionally with an ordinary fryer, the impact was low efficiency and productivity, the production capacity was only 50 kg/day. The solution to this problem is that we, from mechanical engineering, design and manufacture roasting machines to increase production. The productivity of this unit after using the roaster that we have disseminated increases to 100kg/day. The selling price of this magot is approximately Rp. 10,000.00 per kg so the estimated income from this magot per day will be Rp. 1.000.000.00. The community members feel grateful for the dissemination of this roasting
