Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Effectiveness of Educational Comics on Prevention of Violence in Elementary School Children Penggilingan 09 Morning East Jakarta 2019. The research design used in this study was a pre-experimental design using the One Group Pre-Post-Test design, the sample in this study was 32 students taken using total sampling, the research instrument used a questionnaire, the data analysis used paired t test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the pretest and posttest after the educational comic intervention. There is a significant influence between the Effectiveness of Educational Comics on Prevention of Violence in State Elementary School Children before the intervention and after the intervention. It is expected that students will be more proactive in finding information about preventing violence in children so that they can apply the information obtained as well as possible

Abstract

Research design used in this research is quantitative with cross sectional design. The population of this research is toddlers aged 25-59 months. The research uses simple random with 74 toddlers aged 25-59 month as the sample at Puspasari Village. The instrument used is questionnaire.The prevalence of stunting toddlers Puspasari Village is 22, 3%. The frequency of LBW history is (12.2%), without exclusive breastfeeding is (8, 1%), less knowledgeable about complementary feeding is (28, 4%), unhealthy sanitation is (79, 7%), and low family income is (86, 5%). There is no significant relation of LBW (p value=0,596, OR=0,686) and exclusive breastfeeding (p value=0,890, OR=0,889) with stunting. There is a significant relation of the knowledge of mother about complementary feeding (p value=0,000, OR=9,143), sanitation (p value=0,004, OR=6,261), family income (p value=0,026, OR=5,481) with stunting

Abstract

The method used in this study was the Quasy-experimental method. The research design used in this study was one group (of) pretest posttest design. The number of samples in this study, ranged in age from 16 to 19 y.o from 4 schools in Jayanti PHC, was as many as 40 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique.The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire about adolescent knowledge in adolescent anemia. Data were analyzed using paired t-test. The results show that there were differences in knowledge scores before and after the training was given. The obtained research significance value (2-tailed) was 0,000 <0.05. There is an influence of anti-anemia teenage cadre training on adolescent knowledge.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of perineal massage on the perineal tear in primigravida pregnant women trimester III in Morokay Public Health Center in 2018. The research used a Quasi-experimental design. The sampling technique used purposive random sampling. The sample was obtained by 32 respondents divided into 2 groups, 16 respondents were given perineal massage and 16 respondents were not given perineal massage.The data were analyzed using Mann Whitney Test. The results showed that there were differences of perineal tear in experimental group and the control group with a p-value (0.005). There was a difference in the incidence of perineal tear between groups carried out perineal massage and those with no perineal massage. Perineal massage can reduce the risk of perineal tear. It is important to be informed and applied that massage is one of the non-pharmacological interventions to prevent perineal rupture

Abstract

This research used a cross-sectional method. The sample in this research was postpartum mothers on days 1 and 2. The sampling technique used was total sampling, namely 37 postpartum mothers on day 1 and day 2. Data collection was done using a questionnaire that contained 14 questions. Based on the results of the validity test, it was obtained a value of rcount > 0.6139. This means that 14 questions in the questionnaire were declared valid. Data were then analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test to determine the correlation between COVID-19 pandemic anxiety and breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Bidan Praktek Mandiri (Independent Practice Midwife) Ucu M, in East Jakarta in 2021. The results show that there is a correlation between COVID-19 pandemic anxiety and breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Bidan Praktek Mandiri Ucu M, in East Jakarta in 2021.

Abstract

This pre-experimental research design used a one-group pre-test-post-test design. Using the purposive sampling technique, the sample in this study was 58 respondents who are residents of Sukakarya Village, Megamendung District, Bogor. The data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test which was previously tested for normality. Univariate analysis of adolescents' knowledge on the prevention of COVID-19 through audiovisuals obtained an average value of 25.57 and an average post-test score of 30.83. Meanwhile, the bivariate analysis showed the effects of providing education on COVID-19 prevention by using audiovisuals on adolescents' knowledge with a significance value of 0.000. Audiovisual media affect adolescents' knowledge on COVID-19 prevention. It is hoped that adolescents can increase their COVID-19 prevention knowledge by using video media so that they can change their behavior in efforts to prevent COVID-19 transmission

Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to determine the factors associated with giving complete basic immunization to infants during Covid-19 pandemic at Gunung Kaler Public Health Center, Tangerang District in 2021. This research was a descriptive correlation study using purposive sampling method. The sampling further obtained 91 mothers who had babies at the age of 9-12 months old. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, while the statistical test used was chi-square. The results of this study indicated that there was a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, sources of information, and health care support with providing complete basic immunization to infants during Covid-19 pandemic at Gunung Kaler Public Health Center, Tangerang District in 2021. It was found that 60.4% of children at the age of 9-12 months old did not receive complete basic immunization during Covid-19 pandemic at the Gunung Kaler Health Center, Tangerang District.

Abstract

Sleep disorder is one of the most common complaints in elderly. Effective sleep time decreases which results in not having good sleep quality and various kinds of sleep complaints. On the other hand, sleep quality of elderly can be improved by using effective and safe non-pharmacological methods, one of which is acupressure therapy. This study was a pre-experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest design. Sample was 30 elderly people who met inclusion criteria. Wilcoxon test obtained P value (0.000) < (0.05); therefore, Ho was rejected. It means that there was an effect of acupressure therapy on sleep quality of elderly. There is an effect of acupressure therapy on sleep quality of elderly in work area of Melintang Health Center. Elderly people are expected to be able to apply acupressure therapy at home as a non-pharmacological method as an attempt to improve sleep quality

Abstract

As many as 100 respondents were involved in the current study and chosen through proportional stratified random sampling technique at Bakti Jaya Public Health Center from January to November 2020. The research instrument used a questionnaire obtaining primary data which were analyzed using Chi Square statistical test. The univariate analysis conducted showed that among 100 mothers, 64% had low education level, 71.0% had poor knowledge, 68% had negative attitudes, 62% suffered from anxiety disorder, 75.0% were going through PSBB, 62.0% were not supported by their husband, and 75% were supported by health workers. Furthermore, the bivariate analysis presented that there was a relationship between education (p = 0.000), knowledge (p = 0.000), attitudes (p = 0.000), anxiety (p = 0.000), large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) (p = 0.000), 0.000 husbands' support, and health workers' support (p = 0.004) with the family planning participation in the initial period of COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of giving green coconut water on dysmenorrhea pain among adolescent girls in Berekah village, Sukabumi district in 2021. This study was a Quasi Experiment using a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The data were analyzed using the Paired T-Test to determine the difference in scores in one group and the Independent T-Test to determine the difference in scores between groups. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the dysmenorrhea pain scale before and after being given green coconut water (p <0.05).Conclusion: Green coconut water has an effect on reducing the dysmenorrhea pain scale among adolescent girls in the village of Berekah, Sukabumi district. It is hoped that green coconut water can be applied thoroughly as a traditional treatment in dealing with dysmenorrhea pain in adolescent girls.Keywords: adolescent girls, dysmenorrhea, green coconut water
