Abstract

Pembacaan terhadap sebuah teks tidak bisa dipahami secara mandiri. Untuk mendapatkan sebuah pemahaman yang utuh dari pesan yang hendak disampaikan oleh teks setidaknya akan melibatkan tiga komponen, yaitu penulis / pengarang (author), teks (text), dan juga pembaca (reader). Pemahaman teks secara mandiri tanpa melibatkan ketiga komponen tersebut sangat rentan terhadap kesalahan dalam proses pemahaman teks itu sendiri. Hal ini tidak lain karena pemikiran yang dituangkan oleh penulis / pengarang tidak selamanya mampu tertuang secara komprehensif dalam bentuk teks, dalam artian teks yang ada hanyalah sebagian dari pemikiran yang ada dalam otak penulis. Sehingga menghadirkan penulis dalam proses pembacaan teks menjadi sesuatu yang sangat penting. Faktor lain yang menjadi kendala dalam proses pembacaan teks adalah konteks dimana teks tersebut dilahirkan. Tidak sedikit pembacaan terhadap teks menjadi gagal karena pembaca tidak memperhatikan konteks kemunculan teks tersebut. Namun memunculkan ketiga komponen tersebut –terutama pengarang-, bukanlah sesuatu yang mudah, karena terdapat tabir tempat, jarak dan waktu antara pengarang dan pembaca. Kendala dalam mendapatkan pemahaman yang sesuai dengan pesan yang hendak disampaikan oleh teks dalam pembacaan teks ini berusaha dipecahkan oleh Komaruddin Hidayat melalui konsep hermeneutikanya yang kemudian lebih dikenal dengan penafsiran intertekstualitas

Abstract

In the midst of the outbreak of the Covid 19 (Corona Virus) pandemic which has killed thousands of people in the world, it is a very frightening thing for most people, until the government implements regional closures, PSBB (large-scale social restrictions), and quarantine of such areas to stop the spread of this Corona Virus . However, in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan, preaching activities are increasingly being carried out because this month Muslims want to flock to improve themselves and increase their charity. Islam and da'wah are two inseparable things. Islam will not progress and develop bersyi'ar and shine without any efforts to preach. The more incessant preaching efforts are carried out, the more Islamic religion is shouting, the more lax the efforts of preaching the fainter the light of Islam in society. Latsaal-islam illa bi al-da'ah, that's a wise word expressed in the book of kyai prostitution. In facing the era of globalization of information and technological developments lately, the world is faced with the rapid development of information flows. It seems that the use of technology tools as a medium for conveying information to the public cannot be stopped. But on the contrary, the existence of sophisticated technology in the era of globalization of information and communication can be used for disseminating information and messages of Islamic da'wah. In relation to the psychology of da'i, da'i can do what he wants to do because of a change in social society. The psychology of a good da'i will be able to provide a good da'wah effect in society.

Abstract

Human life has always been dealt with various disasters from earthquake,  tsunami to volcano eruption. In the past, as listed in the Qur’an, a lot of stories depicted the vanished people of unbeliever. While the cases of unbeliever referred to the punishment of Alloh, the query is whether the disaster happened to the Believer served as the Divine punishment. Two questions are discussed in this research: (1) How Quraish Shihab interpreted the verses of disaster?, and (2) What is the theology of disaster in Quraish Shihab’s Tafsir al-Misbah? The research shows that natural disaster occurred, in Quraish Shihab’s view, due to the imbalance of environment. Alloh has created harmonious environment, but human being tends to conduct chaos and destruction. Disaster could be concluded into three: (1) disaster that denoted collective destruction, (2) disaster that related to the destruction of meaning, and (3), disaster that dealt with the danger. The cause of disaster could be categorized into three, namely, (1) disaster due to the will of God (2) disaster due to human error (3) disaster due to the wickedness of human. Pertaining to the ethics facing disaster, one could refer to istirja’, patience, learning, the obedience to Alloh. The lesson learned from the disaster are among others, (1) individual aspect : (a) increasing the degree of faith, (b) supporting one’s proximity to God, (c) realizing the love of God, (d) situating one’s faith and (e) supporting one’s humility and (2) social one, building solidarity among human beings.
