Abstract

Earthquake make a lateral force on the building. Lateral forces in tall building that exerted in the column is big enough, so need a rigid elements structure such as shear walls to reduce the lateral force. In designing of shear wall, it’s location must be considered carefully, because the placement of shear wall effected on the shear wall symmetry and would lead to eccentricity. The purpose of this study was to compare the symmetrical shear walls and asymmetrical. The method used is thre equivalent static analysis. Using dead load, live load and earthqueke load for loading parameters. This study, using 3 asymmetric shear wall specimens (0.1 b, 0.2 b, and 0.3b) and 1 symmetric shear wall. From the analysis of 3 asymmetric shear wall compared to symmetric shear walls, it is found that the most savely asymmetric shear wall is the shear wall having 0.1 b eccentricity.

Abstract

Construction projects are the activities which executed within limited schedule, limited resources to achieve the physical of buildings and other infrastructures. Construction projects entangle contractors, designers consultants , supervisor consultants which each other tied together in work agreements so called contacts . The success of a construction project depends on the fulfilling of the schedule, cost and quality prescribed on the contracts. During the project execution, it is frequently happen that the project takes more time to finished because of parts involved. Therefore, this research is done as a mean to know the factors that cause the delay of construction projects according to contractors, owners, and supervisor consultants. The research is done by propagating questionnaires to contractors, owners, and supervisor consultants. The result obtained should be analysed using mean and variant analysis. The result are: for the contractors, the main factors of delaying is the lock of man power while for the owners and the supervisor consultants, it is the materials supply factors.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui nilai kuat tekan bata ringan CLC (Cellular Lightweight Concrete) dengan penambahan admixture dan Untuk mengetahui berat dan nilai serapan air bata ringan CLC (Cellular Lightweight Concrete) dengan penambahan admixture. Analisa yang dilakukan terhadap data-data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penambahan bahan tambahan (additive) pada bata ringan jenis CLC. Analisa dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode statik deskriptif yaitu dengan menganalisa hasil pengujian laboratorium yang dibuat dalam bentuk grafik pengujian kekuatan tekan bata ringan CLC dan serapan air bata ringan CLC. Selain itu akan dianalisis pula perbedaan kuat tekan dan serapan air bata ringan CLC setelah diberi tambahan bahan tambahan (additive).The objectives of this research was to obtain the value of compressive strenght, volume weight and water absorption of Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) light brick concrete with addition of admixture. The analysis that had been conducted on the data obtained in this research showed that  effect of adding additive to light brick type CLC with addition of admixture. Research of this analysis done descriptive statistical method that is by analyzing result of laboratory test which made in graphical form of compressive strenght test and CLC light water absorption, Also analysed in this study were the difference of compressive strength and light water absorption of CLC with  additive.
