Abstract

Mother's Knowledge of Nutritional Needs Regarding Weight Gain During Pregnancy, it is necessary to know that for this reason, there is an activity to deliver material on contraceptives which is an effort to help with Nutritional Needs and Weight Loss During Pregnancy. Energy requirements for a normal pregnancy require an additional 80,000 calories over a period of approximately 280 days. This means that you need an extra 300 calories per day during pregnancy. The results of the activity still need to be developed so that pregnant women pay more attention to weight gain during pregnancy.

Abstract

Providing complementary foods for breast milk should be given regularly. The thickness of the food and the amount must be adjusted to the skills and readiness of the baby in receiving food. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of early complementary feeding (MP-ASI) to the growth of infants 0-6 months at the Jannah Clinic in 2019. This research method used analytical observation with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies 0-6 months at Jannah Clinic as many as 35 people. The sampling technique was total sampling, namely all mothers who had babies 0-6 months at the Jannah Clinic as many as 35 people. The results of the analysis showed that from 35 mothers who had babies 0-1 years, the majority of babies aged 6 months were 12 people (35%) and a minority of babies aged 2 months was 1 person (3%). Distribution based on the majority of abnormal weight gain as many as 20 people (57%). Distribution based on complementary feeding (MP-ASI) the majority on time as many as 19 people (54%). The results of the Chi-Square test obtained a value of = 0.000, this means that the p-value is smaller than (0.05), which means that there is a relationship between early complementary feeding (MP-ASI) on the growth of infants 0-6 months. It is hoped that health workers will provide counseling about MP-ASI, so that mothers who have babies 0-6 months only give breast milk, and babies >6 months are only given MP-ASI. 000, this means that the p value is smaller than (0.05) which means that there is a relationship between early complementary feeding (MP-ASI) on the growth of infants 0-6 months. Abstract

Family planning is an attempt to measure the number and distance of children desired. Family planning acceptors in Indonesia are 6,665,203 acceptors. Active family planning acceptors who use condoms are 182,626 acceptors (2.74%). Contraception is an attempt to prevent pregnancy. Condoms are sheaths or rubber made of various materials including rubber, plastic, and natural materials that are placed on the penis to collect sperm when a man reaches ejaculation during sexual intercourse. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge of men of childbearing age about condom contraception with the participation of men of reproductive age in using condoms. The research method used is cross sectional. The population in this study were all male couples of childbearing age in Neighborhood V of Baru Ladang Bambu sub-district, Medan Tuntungan District in 2020. The sample technique used was purposive sampling of 40 respondents through. The results of the analysis showed that the majority of male couples of childbearing age who had sufficient knowledge participated 52%, ages 20-29 60%, basic education (SD-SMP) 53%, the majority of male couples of childbearing age worked as farmers 97.5%, the majority of sources information from neighbors 42.5% of the results of the chi-square statistical test, namely p = 0.002. It is recommended to health workers in Neighborhood V, Baru Ladang Bambu sub-district to provide counseling about condom contraception and its health benefits.

Abstract

The development of physical, mental and social health of mothers and babies needs to be considered. This can cause problems and anxiety for a mother who is in pregnancy, because anxiety is a major component of almost all psychiatric disorders. The research method used isanalytical observationwith a cross sectional approach. The population is all pregnant women in the third trimester at the Manda Clinic, totaling 30 people. The sample technique is a total sampling of 30 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that of the 30 respondents who had less knowledge the majority had severe anxiety levels as many as 5 people (16.6%) and with good knowledge the majority did not have anxiety levels as many as 4 people (13.3%), experiencing mild anxiety levels as many as 3 people (10%) and 2 people (6.7%) experienced severe anxiety. While having sufficient knowledge, the majority experienced moderate anxiety levels as many as 5 people (16.6%), experienced severe anxiety as many as 3 people (10%) and experienced mild anxiety as many as 2 people (6.7%). The results of the chi-square statistical test obtained p = 0.001, This means that there is a relationship between the knowledge of pregnant women in the third trimester about the labor process and the level of anxiety facing childbirth. It is recommended to pregnant women in the third trimester to add insight and seek information about the labor process with the level of anxiety facing childbirth so that mothers can know the labor process and the anxiety that occurs when facing childbirth.
