Abstract

Getting breast milk is a human right for every baby, because breast milk is the best food for babies. Breastfeeding is the right of every mother, including working mothers. However, working mothers are still considered as one of the factors causing the high rate of breastfeeding failure. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's work and mother's success in giving exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal occupation and the success of exclusive breastfeeding in the Work Area of ​​the UPT Puskesmas Beras Basah, Pangkalan Susu District in 2021. This study used an analytical survey research design with a cross sectional approach, namely measuring independent variables and dependent variables simultaneously. The samples taken in this study were mothers who had babies aged 6-11 months as many as 72 people using a simple random sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire using univariate and bivariate data analysis. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square (x2) test. The results showed that 38 working mothers did not succeed in giving exclusive breastfeeding (80.9%) and 9 people (11.0%) succeeded. mothers who did not work succeeded in giving exclusive breastfeeding to 14 people (56.0%) and those who were not successful were 11 people (44.0%). Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that there was a relationship between working mothers and exclusive breastfeeding in the work area of ​​the Rice Basah Health Center UPT with p-value = 0.001 (p-value <0.05) because 0.01 <0.05 then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, It is recommended for health workers to provide more knowledge and motivation to the community about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding. .

Abstract

Many women of childbearing age (WUS) think that vaginal discharge is normal. One of the reasons for this assumption is the lack of knowledge of women of childbearing age (WUS) about the impact of vaginal discharge. This study aims to determine the effect of Health Education on WUS Knowledge about Fluor Albus at the Patumbak Health Center in 2021. This research is a quantitative research with Pre-Experimental Design with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. This research has been carried out on July 11, 2021 to July 24, 2021. The population is 84 people. Sampling using purposive sampling with a sample of 50 people. The results showed that WUS Knowledge about Fluor Albus before being given Health Education at the Patumbak Health Center in 2021 was the majority poor, WUS Knowledge about Fluor Albus after being given Health Education at the Patumbak Health Center in 2021 was the majority good. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, the p value = 0.001 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of Health Education on WUS Knowledge about Fluor Albus at the Patumbak Health Center in 2021. Suggestions in this research Patumbak Health Center make a planned program in the provision of health education to increase knowledge and understanding of WUS, especially about vaginal discharge in the work area of ​​the Patumbak Health Center.

Abstract

Stroke in the elderly should get attention, especially the family in the form of providing support to the elderly after stroke. Family support for the elderly after stroke is expected to increase the independence of the elderly in daily living (ADL) activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and the level of independence in activity daily living (ADL) in the elderly after stroke at the Neurology Polyclinic of Sufina Aziz General Hospital Medan. This study uses descriptive correlation with a cross sectional approach. This study was carried out on March 21, 2022 to April 2, 2022. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling with a total of 30 patients. Then the data is processed starting from editing, coding, tabulating, entry and processing. The results showed that the support given by the family to the elderly after stroke who sought treatment at the Neurology Polyclinic of Sufina Aziz General Hospital Medan was quite good and the level of independence in Activity Daily Living (ADL) in the Post-Stroke Elderly at the Neurology Polyclinic of Sufina Aziz General Hospital Medan was mild dependence. Based on the results of the chi-square test, it can be concluded that the relationship between family support and the level of independence in daily living (ADL) in the elderly after stroke at the Neurology Polyclinic of Sufina Aziz General Hospital Medan with p value = 0.012 a<0.05.

Abstract

Many women of childbearing age (WUS) think that breast milk (ASI) is the best food for babies. The smoothness of breastfeeding is strongly influenced by psychological factors, one of which is anxiety due to the co-19 pandemic. This study aims to find out how the Anxiety of the Covid-19 Pandemic is related to the Expenditure of Breast Milk for Postpartum Mothers at the Air Joman Baru Sub-Health Center, Air Joman District, Asahan Regency in 2021. This research is a descriptive correlation study with a cross sectional approach. This research was carried out from 11 July 2021 to 24 July 2021. The population was 37 people. Sampling used total sampling with a total sample of 37 people, the research instrument used a questionnaire and data analysis with the chi-square test. The results of the study found that Covid-19 Pandemic Anxiety was in the anxious category, the majority of Postpartum Mothers' ASI expenditure was small. Based on the results of the chi-square test, it was found that there was a relationship between Covid-19 pandemic anxiety and breastfeeding for postpartum mothers at the Air Joman Baru Auxiliary Health Center, Air Joman District, Asahan Regency in 2021. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between Covid-19 pandemic anxiety and postpartum mother's milk expenditure. Suggestions in this research are the Air Joman Baru Sub-district Health Center, Air Joman District, Asahan Regency, to conduct a psychological assessment of postpartum mothers during visits to the Health Center to maximize health services with special indicators for mother's milk production.

Abstract

Pregnant women during pregnancy need knowledge about treatment, prevention, complications or complications during pregnancy and high-risk pregnancies through class activities for pregnant women. Constraints in the implementation of the class for pregnant women are the attitude of pregnant women and families who are classified as negative in attending classes for pregnant women. One of the negative attitudes of pregnant women is caused by a lack of knowledge. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about the class of pregnant women at the Sei Dadap Health Center, Asahan Regency in 2022. This research is a descriptive correlation research with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted from September 12, 2022 to September 24, 2022. The population was 118 people. Sampling using accidental sampling with a total sample of 320 people. The results of the study showed that the majority of pregnant women's knowledge about the class of pregnant women at the Sei Dadap Health Center, Asahan Regency in 2022, was mostly positive. Based on the results of the chi-square test, p value = 0.016 <0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about the class of pregnant women at the Sei Dadap Health Center, Asahan Regency in 2022. Suggestions in this study are the Sei Dadap Health Center of Asahan Regency continue to inform about the importance of class activities for pregnant women to avoid signs and dangers in pregnancy and the health of pregnant women is getting better.
