Abstract

The purpose of this literature review is to review the scientific literature on cooperative learning research in physical education in Indonesia. Two databases (Scopus and Web of Science) were used to select articles containing information on cooperative learning in physical education. The search was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. After the exclusion criteria, only 7 articles were included in the category. The results show that the types of research used in cooperative learning research in Indonesia vary, namely; quantitative, mixed research (quantitative and qualitative), and development. On average in the study using questionnaires and interviews in data collection. Cooperative learning research in Indonesia is also divided into three groups, (i) cooperative learning models based on local wisdom and basic skills cards (FS), (ii) cooperative learning models of TGT, STAD, and Jigsaw types in sports and online learning, (iii) cooperative learning model in instilling self-confidence, cooperation and moral values. Several limitations inherent in the review have been noted, and it is necessary to carry out further studies of this globally with literature reviews or mapping studies (bibliometric and scientometric), and it is also necessary to do about the application of cooperative learning and its impact, because in today's society, elements of elements such as social relationships, dialogue, and respect, as well as physical activity and sport, are very important.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain the results of the product validation of the Android-based massage learning material model that has been designed through expert judgment and perception. The experts involved in the research are massage, learning, and media experts. The research method uses quantitative research in order to analyze quantitative data using IBM SPSS 25.0. Descriptive statistical results percentage. The results of the study concluded that the android-based massage learning material was feasible to use. Some inputs for product improvement are the addition of instructions for using the application, a display with a spread pattern, adding instructional content, simplifying the display, a simulation video, adding competence according to the Indonesian National Framework of Qualifications format, and lowering the file capacity to make it easier to access by the Android OS. The results of this study have implications for the understanding of lecturer who have developed appropriate and effective learning material.

Abstract

There has been an increase in the use of the TGT learning model in physical education, but the lack of TGT research which is associated with enjoyment and basic technical in handball is a gap in research. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of using TGT in improving student-athlete enjoyment and basic techniques. This study applied the true experiment method. The participants were student-athletes from junior high school 46 Palembang (n=30). Physical education classes was conducted in experimental group through TGT, while the control group received conventional PE. The results showed that there were no differences in the value of enjoyment and basic techniques in the experimental and control groups before the experiment, but there were differences after the experiment. Based on the Paired sample t-test it was proven that after teaching handball for 4 weeks through TGT, student-athlete enjoyment and basic techniques increased significantly, but the experimental group had a much larger mean value. Thus, it can be concluded that TGT was an effective method for physical education teacher to create enjoyment and improve basic techniques in handball. Future research needs to be carried out such as testing the effects of TGT using mixed methods research.
