Abstract

Planning an environmental fence in Kelurahan Bendung, Kecamatan Kasemen, Kota Serang, Province of Banten is a preventive effort in the development of the village area in order to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for the community. This effort is supported by the Community Service Team, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Universitas Trisakti, in the form of socialization activities for environmental fence planning to officials and residents of Kelurahan Bendung. The activity was preceded by the initial activity of Situation Analysis and Prioritization of Partner Problems, namely the residents of Kelurahan Bendung. The team coordinated with the officials of Kelurahan Bendung, as well as informal community leaders, discussed intensively to decide on the best agreed solution to be resolved together. The focus of the activity is the socialization of environmental fence planning with the BRC building materials. The service method is the S curve method with five steps, namely preparation, socialization, evaluation, report, and output. The idea of ??community service activities is associated with plans for the development of public facilities and infrastructure in the coming fiscal year. The socialization materials included an understanding of environmental fences, building materials used, and preparation of Working Drawings, Technical Specifications, Budget and Cost Plans for the pilot project, namely the physical construction of the BRC fence in Kelurahan Bendung. Therefore, the contents of the socialization materials need to be well prepared, including the method of measuring the empowerment experienced by the socialization participants in this pandemic situation. Meanwhile, a literature study was conducted so that in compiling the socialization materials references to building materials and technology, project financing management and construction techniques of BRC steel fences were carried out. Hopefully the knowledge of socialization of environmental fence planning can be useful for the community of Kelurahan Bendung

Abstract

The ideal room temperature will create comfort in the learning and teaching process. With increasing outdoor air temperature due to climate change, an air conditioner is needed to reach the ideal room temperature. An air conditioner is an air conditioner that is needed to regulate the temperature and humidity of the air in a room. The purpose of this study is to determine the airflow pattern produced by air conditioning equipment and to determine the distribution of air temperature in the computer laboratory room. Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) is a simulation method used by using the ANSYS application. Based on research conducted in a computer laboratory room which has a length of 12 m, a width of 12 m, a chamfer of 3.93 m and a height of 3 m, the airflow pattern produced by the air conditioner is relatively the same between the variable air velocity 2.5 m / s and 3 m / s. Where the air will move straight in accordance with the outlet shape of the air conditioner and then experience a decrease in speed over a certain distance and a change in the direction of air flow occurs due to exposure to room properties and eventually spreads throughout the room. The average temperature in the computer laboratory room for the variable air velocity 2.5 m/s is 24 ° C. Meanwhile, the variable air velocity 3 m/s 23 ° C.

Abstract

Various, different evaporator placements in a room have produced different airflow patterns, temperature distribution, and airflow velocities. In this study, the average room temperature and airflow velocity measured at 27 points of the CFD simulation for 4 positions of the planned evaporator placements were compared to determine the most ideal position based on the comfortable temperature and the maximum airflow velocity pursuant to the SNI 03-6572-2001 recommendation. On Position 1, two evaporators were given to the west wall. Position 2, two evaporators were placed on the south wall. On Position 3, two evaporators were given to the north wall. Moreover, on Position 4, two evaporators were placed opposite to each other where an evaporator was placed on the south wall, and the other evaporator was placed on the north wall. An ANSYS Fluent software was employed to make the CFD simulation. Based on the results of the study, it was found out that Position 2 was the most ideal evaporator placement position since it met the comfortable temperature limit and has the highest number of airflow velocity points meeting the recommended maximum airflow velocity pursuant to the SNI 03-6572-2001 recommendation.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of the modern architectural era is currently growing rapidly, especially in public buildings to attract tourists. Each iconic building has a different character, this is an expression of a function and identity that you want to show to the surrounding environment. Therefore, in designing iconic modern buildings, it is necessary to have a character study that discusses the modern iconic in architecture, especially in public buildings. The purpose of this research is to identify and describe the iconic modern characteristics used in the final project design in the form of mice building with an iconic modern approach. This study uses a literature study research method. The data collected will be sorted and then compiled, analyzed in-depth, and synthesized to become new findings. The findings are criteria or elements of iconic modern concepts that can be applied and considered in designing architectural buildings, including 1) Unique shape; 2) Strategic location; 3) has a majestic scale; 4) has high toughness. Limitations of the research are limited space for movement caused by the COVID-19 pandemic situation and also the limited time to complete the research. This research has originality in its findings so it is hoped that it will be useful for the community, and writers and can also be used as a reference for similar case studies for urban development.Abstrak: Perkembangan era arsitektur modern saat ini berkembang pesat, terlebih pada bangunan yang bersifat publik untuk menarik wisatawan. Setiap bangunan ikonik memiliki karakter yang berbeda, hal ini  merupakan pengekspresian sebuah fungsi dan identitas yang mau di perlihatkan kepada lingkungan sekitar. oleh karena itu dalam mendesain bangunan modern ikonik perlu adanya studi karakteristik yang membahas mengenai modern ikonik pada arsitektur, terutama pada bangunan yang bersifat publik. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan karakteristik modern ikonik yang digunakan dalam perancangan tugas akhir berupa bangunan mice dengan pendekatan modern ikonik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi pustaka. Data yang dikumpulkan akan dipilah lalu kompilasikan, dianalisis secara mendalam serta disintesiskan untuk menjadi temuan baru. Temuan yang di hasilkan merupakan Kriteria atau elemen konsep modern Ikonik yang dapat diterapkan serta dipertimbangkan dalam mendesain bangunan Arsitektur antara lain : 1) Bentuk yang unik; 2) Lokasi yang strategis; 3) memiliki skala yang megah; 4) memiliki kekokohan yang tinggi. Keterbatasan Penelitian dibatasi ruang gerak yang Disebabkan oleh situasi Pandemi COVID-19 dan juga keterbatasan waktu untuk menyelesaikan penelitian. Penelitian ini memiliki orisinalitas dalam temuannya sehingga diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, penulis dan juga mampu dijadikan sebagai rujukan bagi studi kasus serupa untuk perkembangan kota.
