Abstract

Background:Primary school age children are children aged 6-12 years. During school age, growth continues even though it is not as fast as the growth that occurred earlier in infancy or later in adolescenceObjective:Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem in children characterized by a shorter height compared to children their age. Children who suffer from stunting will be more susceptible to disease and as adults are at risk for degnerative diseases, the impact of stunting is not only on the health side but also affects the level of intelligence of the child.Method: This research is an analytical study which aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status and environment on the incidence of stunting in school age children at SD 186 Lemahabang, Patoloan Village, Bone-Bone Kab, Luwu Utara in 2019Result:This study shows the nutritional status of the definition of stunting variables, the data obtained are those that are not stunting, 73.33% and those who are stunting 26.2%, The environment of the variable understanding of stunting is obtained by data on students whose respondents are 70% and who are not sufficiently 30%.Conclusion:To produce good performance, the hospital needs to From the results of the data obtained from all of the variables above, it is generally concluded that there is a relationship between the level of nutritional status and the environment on the incidence of stunting

Abstract

Background:One indicator of the successful prevention of medical emergency patients is the response time of health workers. Response time A fast will reduce the incidence of death by about 30%, on the other hand, if the delayed response time is will have an adverse impact, resulting in permanent disability and death.Objective:This study aims to determine the factors related to the response time of nurses in handling emergencies in the Emergency Room(IGD), Operating Room (OK), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Ilagaligo East Luwu Hospital 2020. Method: Thestudy is a cross-sectional study. The population in this study were all nurses in the IGD, OK, and ICU Lagaligo I Hospital, East Luwu. The sampling technique was total sampling with a total of60 nurses.Result:The results showed that there was a relationship (p-value <0.034) between education (p = 0.05), years of service (p = 0.016), and training (p = 0.034) with the response time of nurses at Lagaligo I Hospital in 2020. It is hoped that the hospital will continue to encourage staff/employees, in this case, nurses, to continue their education and continuous training to support the professionalism of all nurses. Conclusion:The incidence of the response time of slownurses in patients is due to the absence of good cooperation with the patient's family.It is hoped that the hospital will provide support and motivation to nurses to improve their education by existing standards.

Abstract

Background: Data from the World Health Organization shows that the number of nurses in 2019 was around 19.3 million, while in Indonesia it was 147,264. The current ratio of nurses is 87.65 per 100,000 population, meaning that it is still very far from the national target of 180 per 100,000 population. The condition of nurses is still very limited, so it takes effort and motivation to improve the performance of nurses so that the nurses do not experience work stress.Objective:To analyze the relationship between work stress and work motivation on the performance of nurses at Puskesmas Malili Kab. East Luwu.Method:This study used a cross-sectional study design. The sampling technique in this study was to use accidental sampling on nurses at the Malili Public Health Center, East Luwu Regency.Result:The results showed that there was a relationship between job stress and work motivation on nurses' performance.Conclusion: Continuous efforts are needed to prevent work stress on nurses and increase motivation so that all nurses can perform well without high stress. Motivation is an important thing to pay attention to because it determines the performance of nurses. Hospital leaders are expected to instill a sense of responsibility towards nurses because their job is to serve patients.
