Abstract

The activities of study proces is the main activity in the lecture. The success of the lectures will be achieved if active learning activities. Active learning activities require students actively involved in learning. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to increase the activ ity of students and student's understanding of mathematics on basic chemistry courses through the application of problem based learning. The subjects of these studies amounted to 16 people. The data in this study was obtained by observation and tests. The results of this study indicate that the application of problem based learning can increase activity of students of 27.6%, of the criteria enough active being active. Understanding of students on the basic chemical courses also increased by 41%, from 44 percentage of learning completeness 41 % to 85%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the learning outcomes of students in MTS NegeriPamenang Integrated Science learning, most of them are still under the classicalKKM set by the school, this shows that the Integrated Science learning process hasnot run optimally. This study aimed to improve Integrated Science learningoutcomes for grade VII MTS N Pamenang students with the application of SPICS(Student Centered, Problem Based, Interest and Confident and Satisfaction)learning models, in class VII MTS N Pamenang in the 2018/2019 school year. Thietype of research was classroom action research, where the subjects in this studywere students of class VII MTS N Pamenang consisted of to 28 people, while theobject in this study was SPICS Learning Model (Student Centered, Problem Based ,Interest, Confident and Satisfaction). The procedure in this study consisted of thestages of planning, implementing actions, observation and evaluation andreflection. Data collection form of student and teacher activity observation sheetsand evaluation test used. Students have received grades according to the KKM,meaning that action research in the second cycle has achieved a minimum target of75% achievement of students achieving KKM. Based on the research resultsobtained in the first cycle the average test score of 73.03 cycle with a percentageof completeness 64% or 19 students who graduated according to the defined KKMthat is 75 in the second cycle found that student learning outcomes increased to77.57. Based on the data analysis, the research can be concluded that by usingSPICS (Student Centered, Problem Based, Interest, Confident and Satisfaction)learning models, it can improve the learning outcomes of class VII MTS NPamenang in the 2018/2019 school year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) untuk mendapatkan produk berupa alat peraga yang valid dan praktis yang dapat digunakan dalam mengajarkan materi logika matematika (2) melihat efek potensial alat peraga terhadap keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran logika matematika.  (3) melihat efek potensial alat peraga terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran logika matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (development research). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TKJ 1 SMK Negeri 2 Palembang sebanyak 39 orang. Pengumpulan data berupa  observasi, dan tes. Semua data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa (1) penelitian ini telah menghasilkan produk berupa alat peraga yang valid dan praktis. (2) alat peraga   yang dikembangkan memiliki efek potensial yang positif terhadap keaktifan, dan (3) alat peraga tersebut memiliki efek positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa , hal ini terlihat dengan adanya korelasi yang cukup positif antara keaktifan dengan hasil belajar, dan nilai ketuntasan siswa mencapai  78,38 %   Kata kunci  :  Penelitian Pengembangan, Alat Peraga Rangkaian Listrik Sseri-Paralel, Logika Matematika
