Abstract

Seiring berjalannya waktu teknologi informasi semakin berkembang pesat menyesuaikan kebutuhan publik dan perkembangan teknologi perangkat keras dan lunak, hal ini berimbas pada bertambahnya perangkat pengolahan dan penyimpanan data sehingga harus dipikirkan penempatan perangkat keras tersebut dalam sebuah data center untuk mempermudah proses maintenance dan monitoring kedepannya. Data center yang baik harus memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan, salah satunya adalah standarisasi TIA-942 yang dibuat oleh Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). Penelitian ini melakukan perencanaan layout data center di Dinas Komunikasi Informatika Persandian dan Statistik (Diskominfo) Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah dengan menggunakan metode Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize (PPDIOO) yang merupakan salah satu dari metode network lifecycle untuk pengembangan infrastuktur data center dengan tahapan persiapan, perencanaan, desain, implementasi, operasi, dan optimalisasi. Tahapan metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dibatasi mulai dari tahapan persiapan, perencanaan dan desain dengan mengikuti standar TIA-942 basic Tier I berupa analisis kebutuhan perangkat keras dan lunak, penentuan lokasi dan ruangan data center, desain raised floor, desain sistem pendinginan, desain sistem kelistrikan, desain struktur kabel, desain rack dan kabinet, desain cable tray listrik dan data, desain proteksi kebakaran, desain sistem monitoring lingkungan, desian sistem pengamanan.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how to design and build a web-based application to make the process of thesis guidance. This app aims to help the process of guidance and help students who are taking the thesis and lecturers also may correct student thesis, so that the process runs smoothly guidance to complete. Further, the application also helps faculty in monitoring students in conducting guidance The methods used in this research for observational data collection is interview, and literature, for software development methods we using the waterfall model, software testing methods using Black Box Testing and methods for analysis system weaknesses using PIECES. This research has been successfully implemented an Application Monitoring Guidance thesis on the School of Information Management and Computer Palangkaraya Based Web using codeigniter 3.0 and has been successfully tested against the results of the implementation.The application can provide convenience for students who are doing a thesis on STMIK Palangka raya.

Abstract

Development of the computer is very fast and is used in various fields of life. Usually the computer is used to produce a variety of important information in order to improve the performance of an organization, company or institution to get the job done more effectively and efficiently it is because the computer to process information quickly. To maintain the smooth, monitor, and also simplify the task of managing data majoring student thesis easily then it encourages the writer to create a research titled "Web Application Thesis Management On Teknik Informatika STMIK Palangkaraya". System development using codeigniter PHP Framework scripts and MySQL database are supported by CSS and Bootstrap. The methods used in data collection such as interviews, observation, and literature. The interview is to collect data by conducting a question and answer directly to the section that relates to the object under study. Observation of direct observation on the submission by the current manual. A literature study is collecting data by studying books or literature concerning the design of a system to generate a Web Application Thesis management on Teknik Informatika STMIK Palangkaraya that can provide convenience to students and admin in the management of the final task in submitting the riset title, schedule of seminars, and schedule the final exam anytime and anywhere along the internet connected so that information services related to the final task of students become more optimal

Abstract

As a college education institution, STMIK Palangka Raya plays a role in the development of science, especially in the field of information technology. As a consequence of that, STMIK Palangka Raya should apply and use information technology to optimize the process of education that it organizes. So far, course information send by lecturers through word of mouth at STMIK Palangka Raya. so the authors feel there needs to use information technology to send the course information effectively by way of making the Application of Informatics Engineering Course Management in Client Server based at STMIK Palangka Raya. The purpose of this research is to help lecturers convey information such as course schedules, course assignments, course files, and course grades to students through application with internet connection. Based on the results of questionnaires made with google form service and disseminated to college students through social media with 13 respondents has filled the questionnaire, the Application of Informatics Engineering Course Management in Client Server based at STMIK Palangka Raya can be said to be worthy to use and proper to implement with the percentage of 83%.

Abstract

Web mobile merupakan browser yang dapat diakses menggunaka perangkat smartphone atau tablet. Dalam penelitian ini bertjuan untukmerancang bangun sebuah aplikasi media pembelajaran, yang dapat dimanfaatkan mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan. Dalam pendidikan sangat dibutuhkan proses pembelajaran yang terjamin dan bermutu agar tercipta pembelajaran yang tepat. Pembelajaran pancasila dalam perguruan tinggi merupakan mata kuliah wajib yang harus diambil mahasiswa. Dalam pelajaran pancasila berguna untuk mengkaji, menganalisis, dan memecahkan pancasila sebagai ideologi dan dasar negara Republik Indonesia. Salah satu masalah yang muncul tidak tersediannya media belajar elektronik yang mampu menarik minat belajar mahasiswa, sehingga mata kuliah ini kurang diminati. Dalam peneitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak prototype yang dilakukan dalam 5 tahapan, yaitu: komunikasi, perencanaan, pemodelan, pembentukan prototype, dan penyerahan sistem atau sistem di uji coba. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk media pembelajaran untuk mata kuliah pancasila. Komponen media belajar berisi fitur buku digital dan fitur latihan soal-soal yang dibuat secara menarik dan interaktif.
