Abstract

In general, the destination of this thesis is to know the factors influencing of demand to the Indonesian frozen shrimp/prawn, and specially is to analyse the influence of the Indonesian frozen shrimp/prawn price variable, frozen shrimp/prawn price of competitor (Vietnam and Thailand), income and mount the consumption per capita, and also number of the consumer of chosen exporting destination countries (Japan and America). The analysis of this research is using by the applied of demand theory with double of natural logarithm model and processed with of Ordinary of Least Square method.  The result show that's not all variable show the marking matching or have the same sign with hypothesis. The sign of signification and the sign of elasticity of variable has watch from demand choice of export destination country has made different. For Japan's shrimp market, the variable matching or have the same sign with hypothesis are frozen shrimp/prawn price of Indonesia, and mount the earnings (income) per capita. While for American's shrimp market, the variable matching or have the same sign with with hypothesis are frozen shrimp/prawn price of Indonesia, frozen shrimp/prawn price of the competitor country (Thailand), mount the earnings (income) and mount the consumption per capita. The others is disagree with formulated hypothesis.

Abstract

Kebutuhan dan permintaan suatu komoditas pertanian di satu negara tidak dapat dipenuhi secara mandiri. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan perdagangan internasional yang meliputi ekspor dan impor. Kubis (Brassica olareceae) adalah salah satu sayuran semusim. Ekspor kubis pada tahun 2016 menjadi penyumbang devisa terbesar dari sayuran semusim selain wortel, bawang merah, dan jamur. Taiwan adalah salah satu tujuan utama ekspor kubis namun mengalami fluktuatif. Fluktuasi ekspor kubis dari tahun ke tahun akan berdampak pada penurunan ekonomi daerah dan negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendalami dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai pengaruh Gross Domestik Produk (GDP) riil negara Taiwan, nilai tukar, volume ekspor, dan harga ekspor terhadap nilai ekspor kubis di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data panel dari tahun 2016 sampai tahun 2020. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial berdasarkan Uji T diketahui bahwa variabel GDP riil negara Taiwan, nilai tukar, volume ekspor, harga ekspor berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai ekspor. Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa fluktuasi dari GDP perkapita riil negara Taiwan, nilai tukar, volume dan harga ekspor juga berpengaruh terhadap naik turunnya nilai ekspor kubis di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.
