Abstract

The poor quality of communication in the family will have a bad impact on the integrity and harmony in the family itself. For example, the factors that cause deviation in children's behavior are the result of poor interpersonal communication in the family, even the communication patterns of parents to children are wrong so that the child has the wrong association and has bad behavior. This study aims to answer the formulation of the problem with a research focus on how parental communication patterns on children's behavior and inhibiting and supporting factors of parents in fostering children's behavior. This research methodology uses qualitative analysis. The data collection technique was obtained based on observation, interviews, documentation of the literature study of research informants totaling 3 people. The data were analyzed by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. From the results of research and discussion, it is concluded that in the communication patterns of parents to children: Communication patterns are permissive; Authoritarian communication patterns; The third communication pattern is a democratic communication pattern. In relation to the third communication pattern, the cause of violence in children is an authoritarian communication pattern. So that interpersonal communication is needed for parents in developing personality and changing children's behavior with a sense of openness (openess); Empathy (Empathy); Support (Supportiveness); Positive taste (positiveness); Equality (Equality). Communication between parents and children is part of social interaction that can be obtained from the family, environment and even formal education. Parents must be wise and precise in providing communication patterns to children so that interpersoanal communication between parents and children gets effective communication in developing children's personalities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the strategy of Public Relations Regional Secretariat Rokan Hulu District in providing information to the public. Informants in this study are officials authorized in the organizational structure of Public Relations Division Regional Secretariat Rokan Hulu. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of public relations tasks Rokan Hulu District as a drafter and implementer of public relations functions as a liaison with the relevant parties, especially in the field of information, the creation of a smooth relationship, can build mutual trust and also mutual respect and achievement of information delivery Accurate. Proposed suggestion is public relations officer must be able to maximize performance in relationship with media so that publicity will be achieved as expected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the application of various learning methods to the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 15 Toboali on the area of flat shapes. This research was conducted on fifth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Toboali. After learning that applied various learning methods to the material "Area of Flat Shape" in Mathematics learning, the following results were obtained: (1) from the aspect of the learning process, students were actively involved in learning activities from Cycle I to Cycle III; (2) there was an increase in students' academic ability, namely students' mastery of the concept of learning material, starting from cycle I to cycle III the average score of students increased so that it reached 82.69; and (3) in terms of student activity, the score obtained in Cycle III was 83.65 and in terms of student cooperation, a score of 82.69 was obtained in Cycle III. Based on the values, activeness, and cooperative attitudes obtained by students, it can be concluded that the application of various learning methods can improve student learning outcomes and be used in learning at school, especially learning "Area of Flat Shape" in Mathematics.
