Abstract

Introduction : Anxiety is an uncertain or pervasive concern or fear that is associated with an uncertain and helpless feeling. Pregnant women will experience anxiety during labor.This research aims to; Analyzing Differences In Anxiety Levels Of Primigravida And Multigravida Pregnant Women Trimester III In Facing Childbirth at RSU Al Islam H.M Mawardi, Sidoarjo Regency. Methode : Analytic design with comparative approach. The population of third trimester pregnant women are 50 pregnant women. Puprosive sampling thechnique, a sample of 44 pregnant women consisting of 22 primigravida and 22 multigravida pregnant women. Data collection using ZSAS questionnaire, data processing coding, scoring, tabulating and analyzed by means of the independent T-Test. Result: Age primigravida pregnant women who experienced mild anxiety levels with 21-35 years (63.6%), educated secondary (62.5%) and who received family support (75%). The age of multigravida pregnant women who experienced mild anxiety levels aged 21-35 years (52.4%), educated secondary (56.25%) and who received family support (55%). Independent T-Test results obtained p value = 0.002 where the statistical value sig. (2-tailed) is smaller or less than value of α = 0.05. Statistical testing using the independent T-Test results obtained p value = 0.002 where p value < α = 0.05, indicating that there were differences in anxiety levels between primigravida and multigravida trimester III pregnant women in labor. Discussion : What can be drawn is that there are differences in anxiety levels of primigravida and multigravida trimester III pregnant women in the face of the childbirth. Therefore, it is expected that medicsl staff when conducting an assessment of pregnant women will also focus on the psychological problems of the mother and also provide information to her husband and family to participate in helping to assist the mother dduring the process of pregnancy.
