Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of microcredit to improve business. Developing micro-entrepreneurs can create jobs to prevent urbanization and reduce poverties. The problems are micro-entrepreneur which are less professional to manage and low productivity. This study uses descriptive and qualitative analysis for 18 micro-entrepreneurs which got machine from Industrial Ministry. The largest contribution of Gross Regional Domestic Product of Ende District is the agricultural sector by 61.35%; its largest productions are cassava, rice, coffee, hazelnut, cashew, and cocoa. The results showed that contribution margin is still low, highly dependent on the season and manually processed; marketing are mostly done by direct sales, and shortage of capital. They need loan to increase the business, but improper utilization of capital can bring some difficulties. They must get some trainings and consultations either before get or used micro credit, because made micro-entrepreneurs have higher risk although they give higher profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and behavior of the Sundanese Muslim community in Bandung about halal food and beverage products. The method used in this research is descriptive and verifikatif. The data were collected using questionnaires, completed with observation. Data analysis using validity test, reliability test, linear regression, correlation, hypothesis test, and coefficient of determination. The correlation test result is 0.376, which shows that it is in the interval 0.20 - 0.399, and the coefficient of determination test shows the influence of 0.142. This means that the influence of knowledge level on the behavior of Muslim sunda society is 14.2%. The difference of 85.8% is the influence of other factors not examined. This figure indicates that the increased knowledge of respondents on halal products will increase the behavior in consuming halal products.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dimaksudkan agar BUMDES Tarumajaya menjadi outlet bagi produk yang dihasilkan penduduk setempat dan memiliki kinerja yang baik, sehingga dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan penduduk. Program normalisasi dan rehabilitasi kawasan hulu sungai Citarum menuntut peran masyarakat agar memberi kontribusi pada normalisasi dan rehabilitasinya. Metode yang dilakukan dengan survey, wawancara, serta pelatihan mengenai manajemen bisnis yaitu memanfaatkan peluang dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang dimiliki. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan peluang dan kekuatan lebih banyak daripada ancaman dan kelemahannya. Matrik eksternal menunjukkan total skor 2,36 dan matriks internal 2,31. Berdasarkan analisis eksternal internal, menunjukkan BUMDES Tarumajaya berada pada kuadran V, yaitu ditahan dan dijaga, serta strategi yang tepat adalah penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk. Program yang dapat dilakukan, antara lain melakukan aktivitas pemasaran dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi informasi termasuk di dalamnya penelusuran alternatif pengembangan produk baru, sehingga dapat meningkatkan keragaman dan kualitas produk yang dijual serta memahami perkembangan selera konsumen dan pesaing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the development of micro business potential to utilize aerocity opportunities in Majalengka Regency that would change the livelihood and culture of the community. The local potential in Majalengka were agriculture and natural resource-based tourism. Processing of local raw materials into products that fit the needs of the community would be able to increase the income of the population. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The results showed the right strategy was market penetration and new product development. Efforts to be taken to support the strategy included (1) Improving the quality of human resources in services and trade, (2) Innovation of new local based products, (3) Promotion of information technology utilization, (4) Increasing tourism infrastructure involving micro businessmen, (5) Business assistance, market survey, and management training involve Higher Education, (6) BUM Desa facilitations in machinery, storage, capital development, product marketing, (8) Producing products according to agricultural commodities.

Abstract

A recent survey conducted in several countries shows that female-owned companies involved in the global market have substantial income. Will be more optimistic if their business prospects are balanced with adequate managerial skills, and focus more on business expansion rather than just thinking about domestic-oriented female-owned companies. International trade has encouraged the growth of women's businesses in many countries, due to an increase in managerial capacity. The global impact of women entrepreneurs is just beginning to get its intensity. The number of female business owners continues to increase steadily. The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristic tendencies in managerial skills of women entrepreneurs in Negeri Melaka. This illustrates the quality of women business owners as the key to their success in increasing the ability to develop with a more intense focus.

Abstract

This study aims at identifying the factors that affect the application of technopreneurship on micro and small enterprises in Majalengka Regency. The factors include market penetration, new product development, pricing, product quality, innovation, promotion, distribution, and network and collaboration. Employing accidental sampling, 111 entrepreneurs were sampled to take a questionnaire from which the results were analyzed using descriptive and verification statistics. The research model analyzed using Partial Least Square method and assisted by Smart PLS3 software. It was found that the results of the analysis on technopreneurship indicated that new product development, market penetration, promotion, and network and collaboration had been done adequately. Meanwhile, pricing, product quality, innovation, and distribution had been done well. Technopreneurship has significant effect on innovation, product quality, promotion, marketing, market penetration, and product development strategy.
