Abstract

Abstract: This Study purposed to improve Early reading ability includes the ability to recite, intonation, and fluency in reading.This study used a classroom action research method that was carried out in two cycles. the results of the study indicate that the first cycle early reading ability reached 49% and the second cycle reached 82%. out of 15 children, 1 child has not been reached. based on the results of the research, the word tree media interpretation can improve the ability to read the beginning in childrenKeywords; Inquiry, engineering, construction and montageAbstrak: Kemampuan membaca permulaan melalui pohon kata yang meliputi kemampuan pelafalan, intonasi, dan kelancaran membaca. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siklus I nilai rata- rata mencapai 49% dan siklus II mencapai 82%. Dari 15 anak, 1 anak yang belum tercapai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka penerapan media pohon kata dapat meningkatkan kemampaun memaca permulaan. Kata Kunci:  media pohon kata, membaca permulaan, anak
