Abstract

The use of learning management software is increasingly widespread in the era of industry 4.0, but most of the software was developed in the time when the use of smartphones has not been widespread, so that the interface is designed for use on desktop computers. Although e-learning allows users to access lecture material remotely through web applications, user mobility is still limited because it depends on the position of the desktop where he works. Accesing the application using a smartphone is also not enjoyable due to poor performance and the screen is too cluttered with the menu, which is don’t fit with the small screen of the smartphone. This lead to less optimal use of the e-learning facilities by students. To overcome the above obstacles, this research designed an e-learning application interface with native applications on mobile devices. This e-learning mobile application consists of a backend that runs on the server and a frontend application on a smartphone device. As a backend to servers, chamilo-based online learning management software is used. Chamilo is an opensource online learning management software developed with php programming language. The mobile software was developed natively for android devices using the react native framework, a programing framework based on javascript programming language. Access to the database using SOAP-based webservice and RESTFUL API. It is expected that with this software students can access the lecture material more frequently due the simple and more intuitive interface without being hindered by complex menus, so that the level of absorption of learning material is higher.

Abstract

Smart Class adalah sebuah sistem aplikasi IoT yang dapat memonitoring dan mengontrol ruang kelas secara otomotis dan terkomputasi. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah masalah yang sering dijumpai pada lingkungan sekitar, yaitu sistem kendali guna mengatur on-off lampu dan AC serta auto lock pintu ruangan berbasis IoT. Dengan adanya sistem kendali ini dapat mengontrol penggunaan daya listrik dan meningkatkan sistem keamanan kampus. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dibangun sistem monitoring ruangan menggunakan beberapa sensor yang diterapkan pada Raspberry Pi dan ditampilkan kedalam media berbasis web yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan user dalam memantau secara real-time, mengendalikan komponen yang terdapat pada kelas agar penggunaan daya listrik lebih efisien dan meningkatkan sistem keamanan kampus. Hasil dari pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa bahwa sistem informasi Asia Smart Building (ASB) berhasil pada semua proses dalam menambah, merubah data maupun dalam menghapus data serta memonitoring. Dengan adanya Asia Smart Building mempermudah dalam memonitoring suhu, kelembaban, energy yang terpakai secara real-time, dapat mematikan maupun menyalakan perangkat elektronik didalam kelas tanpa menggunakan saklar, dan dapat memonitor ruang kelas melalui aplikasi telegram dengan efektif.

Abstract

The concept of teaching mathematic is most important for educators by understanding and application of mathematics content that cater to students, especially primary school students. extending the interesting material, as well as providing assistance to the student to take assessment can assist in attraction, concentration and success in understanding mathematics. It is always related because not all students in a class is able to understand the material quickly, then the required factors that have an interest for children. The interesting will become the factors that support students in learning, if these factors can also be conceptualized as children's activities are carried out every day, it means that if the school use the curriculum, and the home environment playground are always supervised by the parent. so the Interesting in mathematics lessons can be realized also in the integration of emerging technologies, especially mobile phones. The majority the students today have the tool, it will be more efficient to develope of mathematical material is also contained in the mobile. The development can be implemented in mathematic education game. Games designed by researcher wishes to develop mobile based learning materials, especially in mathematic. the Experiments have performed in the implementation of mathematic games with basic operators to produce the final value of the overall respondents who rate amounted to 84.4%. it means that the level of engagement users, especially students very well in playing to respond the educational game designed.
