Abstract

Abstract: JIIPE International port construction in Manyarejo village, Manyar District is possible to have an impact on the residents' economy. Based on this, this study aims to determine the impact of development on the socio-economic conditions of the community. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The research population is pond farmers, pond farmer laborers in Manyarejo village. The number of samples is 50 respondents consisting of 25 respondents who own pond land and and 25 respondents are pond farmers workers. Data were taken through questionnaires and interviews. Descriptive analysis was carried out on data on age, education, number of family dependents, livelihood, income, expenditure and productivity of pond land. The results showed that 1) The social conditions of the Manyarejo village community, especially shrimp, milkfish, and salt farmers changed by 44% become small traders, entrepreneurs, fishermen and employees, and 64% remain as pond farmers. 2) Community income from the aquaculture sector has decreased by 13% because agricultural land has been acquired and crop productivity decreased by 61%. Monthly income increased by 38% due to new livelihoods. Keywords: Port Development, Transfer of Land Functions, Social and Economic Conditions

Abstract

The focus of this research is to describe the participation model of the Airlangga Village community in the KOTAKU program. This study is essential because, empirically, community participation in the Airlangga sub-district has been going well and is sustainable in protecting the environment. It is necessary to study the model and form of participation implemented through the involvement of PUPR, local government, government partners, the private sector and the village community. Examining the internal and external factors that support collaboration, the designed collaborative model is expected to contribute suggestions for solving slum areas in other regions. Using a quantitative research approach, this study produced the following data: 1). The form of participation used by 99 respondents was 20% using thoughts, 29% using energy and 22% using expertise and 16% using materials or money. 2). The collaboration model used by the Airlangga sub-district is 4-Key or 4K, namely Institutionalism, Citizen Control, Facilitative Leadership and Communication. 3) Factors that influence community participation are age, gender and level of education. External factors that influence community participation are communication, leadership and the role of the facilitator

Abstract

The results of observations in class XI Social Sciences, the learning media used were only blackboards and PowerPoint. The media can make students bored and unable to attract interest in learning. This study aims to determine students' responses to TGC learning media on the material of cultural diversity in Bangkalan. Research using descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection tool used is a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique used in this study is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that the percentage of responses of students in class XI IPS SMAN 1 Bangkalan to TGC learning media on the cognitive dimension indicators of content understanding averaged 86.2%, indicators of clarity of learning instructions and information averaged 86% and indicators of suitability of the average card display average 87.8%. On the affective dimension of student responses on motivation indicators obtained an average percentage of 86.8%, attractiveness indicators an average of 89.8% and curiosity indicators an average of 85.6%. On the conative dimension, the response of students to the indicator asking an average of 86.6% and the indicator responding to questions is an average of 95.6%.

Abstract

Students play a crucial role in the learning process at school, and creating a fun and engaging learning environment that can positively impact their interest and active participation. However, accommodating the diverse learning styles and needs of students can be a challenge for teachers. To address this, differentiated learning activities are considered appropriate, as they focus on meeting the individual needs of students and allow educators to respond effectively in the classroom. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of differentiated learning in improving the activity and learning outcomes of Grade X Geography students, specifically focusing on the Anthroposphere material at SMAN 4 Sidoarjo during the academic year 2022/2023. To investigate the effectiveness of differentiated learning, a one-shot case study experimental design was employed. The study involved 40 students and utilized the one-shot case study model. The results revealed that the implementation of differentiated learning effectively improved the activity and learning outcomes of Grade X-C Geography students in relation to the Anthroposphere material at SMAN 4 Sidoarjo during the academic year 2022/2023.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um022v8i22023p96
