Abstract

It can be studied in this paper that a cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) helps device-to-device (D2D) communication system through base station (BS). In particular, we investigate BS selection scheme as a best channel condition for dedicated devices where a different data transmission demand on each device is resolved. The analysis on amplifying-and forward (AF) relay is proposed to evaluate system performance of the conventional cooperative NOMA scheme. Under the realistic assumption of perfect channel estimation, the achievable outage probability of both devices is investigated, and several impacts on system performance are presented. The mathematical formula in closed form related to probability has also been found. By implementing Monte-Carlo simulation, the simulation results confirm the accuracy of the derived analytical results. Also, the proposed D2D cooperative NOMA system introduces expected performance on reasonable selected parameters in the moderate signal to noise ratio (SNR) regime.

Abstract

To achieve low-latency and high-reliability (LLHR) for applications in the vehicle-toeverything (V2X) networks, the non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) based Long Term Evolution (LTE)-based is introduced a promising technology. NOMA-V2X provides higher spectrum efficiency compared with the orthogonal multiple access (OMA) based V2X. This study propose two-way relay assisted NOMA-V2X transmission by exploiting amplify-and-forward (AF) and full-duplex. We derive expressions of outage probability to evaluate performance of two vehicles and to improve the quality of service (QoS) for the device with the poor channel conditions. These expressions are further verified by Monte-Carlo simulations.

Abstract

This study considers the performances of a downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network over Nakagami-m fading channels. This scheme employs two hop transmission. We first examine the analytical outage probability expression for each user and then these results are verified by Monte Carlo simulations. Based upon the outage probability, the maximal throughput are obtained and analyzed under different parameters. Furthermore, the effects of Nakagami-m channel fading on the probability and throughput are investigated. The results indicate that the performance of the NOMA system is excellent as appropriate selection of simulated parameters. This analysis can be recommended for designing the NOMA systems in the future fifth-generation wireless communication.
