Abstract

The office of Kelurahan Petukangan Selatan, is one government agency that wants to improve its efficiency in providing community services. The one that they choose is public welfare. One of the activities in the field of public walfare is the mosquito nest eradication, in the form of larvae checks in kelurahan petukangan selatan, in which the result of the examination will be reported to the village, which until today the submission of reports still manual. This leads to difficulty for responsible staff to monitor the larvae in kelurahan petukangan selatan in reporting their result. The running of this application cannot be separated from the services of the telecomunication operator for receiving and sending SMS. Features available in the SMS Gateway aplication among other; form of data entry officer, disease data entry, dynamic request, form server menu consists of incoming SMS and SMS Broadcast, form of transaction report, form of data report, inbox form, outbox form, form of device and critism which all are contained in the application server. While the features contained in the client application, include : form server set ID, input larvae reports, change larvae reports, larvae validation reports, and clear statements void reports, check number of cases, symptoms of diseases, as well as advice and critisism of dynamic request. Software use for this application is java programming language and MySql as its database. One of the difficulty face in the implementation of this system is that not all the staff or interpreter larvae monitors using mobile phone which has features supporting java.Keywords : SMS Gateway, Reporting Mosquito Larva, Kelurahan Petukangan Selatan, Java Programming, Waterfall model.
