<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian menganalisis peran Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sulsel dalam penanggulangan tindak pidana narkoba. Metode peneltian yang digunakan metode penelitian hukum empiris. Hasil penelitian bahwa Peran masyarakat amat dibutuhkan dalam rangka membantu aparat penegak hukum untuk mencegah dan memberantas penyalahgunaan peredaran gelap narkotika dan prekursor narkotika. Dengan ikut sertanya masyarakat membantu tugas aparat penegak hukum tersebut, maka peredaran gelap narkotika dan prekursor narkotika yang berada di tengah-tengah kehidupan masyarakat dapat diminimalisir, yang nantinya diharapkan masyarakat bisa terlepas dari bahaya peredaran gelap narkotika dan prekursor narkotika. (2) Peran aparat penegak hukum sebagai partner masyarakat, sangat urgen dalam rangka pencegahan dan memberantas peredaran gelap narkotika dan prekursor narkotika, baik berdasarkan peraturan perundang-undangan maupun berdasarkan kondisi empirik yang ada dalam masyarakat..
