Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of Internet media as a learning resource by students and teachers in learning. This study uses a qualitative research approach with the type of phenomenological research. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. Then analyzed using three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that students are familiar with Internet media from various sources including social media, parents and television. As for the use of Internet media facilities by students, including Google, YouTube, and learning applications as learning resources. Students in the use of Internet media have the skills to access various information that is used to support learning resources. Meanwhile, the use of Internet media by teachers is at the planning stage which includes socializing online learning procedures, preparing online Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), downloading applications that will be used in e-learning, and downloading materials. The implementation phase includes the use of Internet media to optimize applications used in e-learning, as well as the use of Google and YouTube as learning resources. The learning outcomes stage includes the use of Internet media to evaluate, guide, and send assignments online.

Abstract

Abstract This research is aimed at knowing and analyzing library optimization in developing literacy in SD Negeri 2 Banjarkerta, Karanganyar District, Purbalingga Regency. This research is a phenomenological research that uses a qualitative approach. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. Then analyzed using three stages, namely data reduction, data display and verification. The results showed that the Tunas Cendekia library at SD Negeri 2 Banjarkerta was optimal in carrying out library functions, namely the function of storing human works, educational functions, information functions, recreation functions, and creativity functions. The library functions that are not yet optimal are the functions of research, culture, and documentation. Then students' reading literacy activities in the library include activities to strengthen and develop students' interest in reading, love to read, reading habits, reading activities, and forms of action in giving examples of developing literacy activities. All reading literacy activities are interrelated in their implementation. Strengthening and developing literacy by getting used to reading non-lesson books for fifteen minutes. The results of the optimization of the Tunas Cendekia library in developing literacy have a positive impact on the achievement of academic and non-academic achievements and the formation of good character attitudes in students. Keywords Literacy, reading, optimization, library Abstrak Penelitian yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis optimalisai perpustakaan dalam mengembangkan literasi di SD Negeri 2 Banjarkerta Kecamatan Karanganyar Kabupaten Purbalingga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian fenomenologi yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan Tunas Cendekia SD Negeri 2 Banjarkerta sudah optimal dalam menjalankan fungsi perpustakaan yaitu pada fungsi khazanah penyimpanan karya manusia, fungsi pendidikan, fungsi informasi, fungsi rekreasi, dan fungsi kreativitas. Fungsi perpustakaan yang belum optimal yaitu fungsi penelitian, kebudayaan, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian aktivitas literasi membaca siswa di perpustakaan meliputi kegiatan pemantapan dan pengembangan minat baca siswa, gemar membaca, kebiasaan membaca, aktivitas membaca, dan bentuk tindakan dalam memberi contoh mengembangkan aktivitas literasi. Keseluruhan aktivitas literasi membaca saling berkaitan dalam pelaksanaannya. Pemantapan dan mengembangkan literasi dengan membiasakan selama lima belas menit membaca buku nonpelajaran. Hasil optimalisasi perpustakaan Tunas Cendekia dalam mengembangkan literasi memberikan dampak yang positif dengan pencapaian prestasi akademik maupun nonakademik serta terbentuknya sikap perilaku karakter yang baik pada siswa.
