Abstract

Radical and global changes in the world and also the fast development of knowledge economy era (Drucker, 1990) affected and forced all profit and non-profit organizations to be radically adaptive to the changes. Pfizer Inc, as one of the biggest pharmaceutical corporation in the world, also aware the needs to be adaptive in the radical change. Led be new CEO, Mr. Jeffrey B. Kindler, Pfizer keeps on enhancing and improving itself by conducting Pfizer transformation since early 2006. For Pfizer People, transformation is not a short cut process of reduction costs and restructurization, but transformation are mainly focused to develop healthier and better environment in the world as stated in Pfizer new motto in 2016: “Working for Healthier WorldTM” In finance division PT Pfizer Indonesia, the improvement and enhancement process are led by conducting Finance Survey in 2006. The survey becomes the basic evaluation and the key indicator as Finance Performance. From some theories on human capital compiled with other theories, references and understanding on knowledge management, change management, culture management, learning organization and agile leadership, I summarize the new concept of agile knowledge worker. I strongly support that the limitation of this new concept can be the new thoughts and ideas of the human capital and knowledge management development and implementation

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of organizational experience while in college on career development and leadership spirit among students. Qualitative study by taking 84 students as respondents at the Bekasi Muhammadiyah Business Institute campus in the period February 2021. This study uses a questionnaire as the main tool in collecting opinions. The results of this study are, students who actively participate in student organization activities or when they are in the same school as OSIS, have a greater chance of being accepted for work, and have a wider perception of positive leadership styles

Abstract

The creative economy becomes the major survivor and its growth increased during the COVID19 pandemic. Several sectors in the industry that prioritize creativity and art are increasing in demand. An example is the independent book publishing business, although it is still a micro, small and medium scale business, the business of publishing books through independent channels is increasingly in demand by writers to publish their books in this UMKM scale publisher. On the one hand, readers are also enlivening e-books, aka more and more fond of reading books through online applications. In contrast to the development of this independent publication, several major publishers with retail networks throughout Indonesia were forced to deactivate their outlets during the pandemic, due to the PSBB policy. Therefore, this research focuses on how the creative economy, in this case independent publishing, is able to support the people's economy during the pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the consumer perception of the mineral water brand Azhom. The research methodology used a qualitative approach by having face-to-face interviews with around 100 owners of street vendors and kiosks. The research results showed the consumers' analysis of mineral water Azhom and how its management could develop detail strategies to develop products, win the market and do market penetration. The research limitation was the number of respondents and the areas to be surveyed were still limited. The research contributions are to gain teamwork among the Azhom product owner and the kiosk and street vendor owner to increase Azhom sales which also develops better economic values.

Abstract

This research finds the core relationship between self-efficacy and entrepreneur motivation in generation Y. The limit of the study was the number of respondents and also the domicile where they were located, were limited in West Java areas. The research using mixed methods, between qualitative and quantitative methods. The authors spread questionnaires to 141 respondents ages 19-45 in order to get their perspectives on their motivation to build their own enterprises, compared with their self-efficacy. The results found out that mostly their motivation mostly in moderate levels. Their preferences to have stable career rather than building own business, caused by many factors explained detail below.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan mental di kalangan generasi muda, khususnya para pelajar setingkat SMA/SMK daMadrasah Aliyah di kota Bekasi dan sekitarnya. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara mengadakan seminar bagi 200 pelajar setingkat SMA dan memberi pemahaman mendasar kepada mereka akan pentingnya kesehatan mental, mengidentifikasi secara dini gejala adanya gangguan kesehatan mental, serta tindakan dan kepada siapa mereka dapat meminta bantuan untuk tindak pengobatan secara intensif. Setelah seminar, peserta diminta mengisi kuesioner untuk mengidentifikasi sejauh mana mereka telah memahami pentingnya kesehatan mental dan tindakan apa yang dapat mereka lakukan bila mereka, atau orang terdekat mengalami gejala gangguan kesehatan mental.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to focus on the analysis to determine whether there is an effect of service quality on customer satisfaction in the Kentucky Fried Chicken Bekasi Trade Center. The distribution of questionnaires to 150 consumers of Kentucky Fried Chicken Bekasi Trade Center with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The research method used is the descriptive quantitative method. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis testing, research instrument testing, classical assumption testing, simple linear regression analysis hypothesis testing, and testing the coefficient of determination (R^2) with the help of the SPSS version 25 application program. The results of this study indicate that service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction at Kentucky Fried Chicken Bekasi Trade Center by 23.039 > 1.976 and 0.000 < 0.05. While the coefficient of determination (R^2) of the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at Kentucky Fried Chicken Bekasi Trade Center is 78.2% and the influence of other variables outside this study is 21.8%.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat kampus Institut Bisnis Muhammadiyah Bekasi yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April hingga Mei 2023 dan pelaksanaannya antara lain dilaksanakan oleh Kelompok 1 ini mengangkat tema permainan edukasi cerdas cermat sebagai kegiatan yang menyenangkan siswa sekaligus dapat meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi siswa. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan di SMK Tirta Kencana – Bekasi Timur Ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan rasa percaya diri siswa, sehingga dapat membantu mereka untuk terus berkembang selepas lulus SMK, sehingga dapat membantu meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga dan meningkatkan taraf hidup kesejahteraaan generasi muda di Kota Bekasi pada umumnya.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah having basic problems but crucial related to its regeneration. Internal thought among the senior leaders in its organization worried of the young generation who will replace their positions to run and lead the organization in the future. 60 million members spread all over Indonesia (per-2019) is a such a huge number of members, but seems limited for future regeneration who will seriously giving contribution in this mass organization. This study researches and analyzes its good organization governance, whether can effectively having leadership functions, and how the social perspectives to  its effectiveness and captures what young generations’ perception on it. This research distributed questioners to 217 respondents, and using SEM (PLS) in analyzing the data. Three major variables on this study are good organization governance, leadership and regeneration.  The limitation of the study was the respondents are mostly domicile in Bekasi areas, so it still not captured yet the big picture of organization as a whole. The result of this study show the strong correlation between good organization governance, leadership effectiveness and young generations perceptions on Muhammadiyah as an Islamic mass organization.

Abstract

This research is to find out the influences of digital transformation to the MSME’s development and growth, especially after COVID 19. This research would like to gain what the digital media mostly used by the MSME owners and whether the owners got the positive impacts after using them, and whether the positive impacts including the significant profit for their business. This research is also to find out how they learnt the digital media and who coach them to use the tools. This research is using quantitative methods, spreading the questionnaires to 230 respondents and having 72 valid responses to be analyzed.
