Abstract

Cherry tomatoes are a type or commodity of horticulture that has a very relatively high economic value compared to ordinary tomatoes. Cherry tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum var,. cerasiforme. It is one of the local plants that is neglected and not used and is often considered as a wild plant. This study aims to determine the effect of PGPR fertilizer application on the growth of cherry tomato plants. This research was carried out in the urban village). Rerewokan, West Tondano sub-district starting from August to November 2021. The method used is a quantitative method with the type of experimental research in the form of a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with five types of treatment, each repeated four times. P1 = without using fertilizer, P2 = 100ml, P3 = 200ml, P4 = 300ml, P5 = 400ml, so there were 20 treatment combinations, and the data obtained were then analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). From the results of this study, it showed that good plant height growth was found in treatment P4 with the application of a mixture of PGPR fertilizer concentration of 300ml / 2 liters of water, because there was the most effective growth, while the growth in the number of leaves and the number of fruits was very good in treatment P2 with the addition of a mixture. PGPR fertilizer concentration 100ml / 2 liters of water.

Abstract

Nutmeg leaf, lemongrass, and bee nests contain bioactive compounds that have potential as mosquito repellents. The purpose of this study was to learn about the bioactivity of a combination extract of nutmeg leaf, lemongrass, and bee nests, as well as to determine the efficient mosquito repellent lotion recipe from a combination of nutmeg leaf, lemongrass, and bee nests extract. The maceration process was used for extraction. Total flavonoid content was estimated by comparing it to the flavonoid quercetin. The absorbance value was measured with a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The concentration of the extract combination in the lotion used was 0%, 2.5%, 5% and 10%. The total flavonoid concentration was found to be 16.67 mgQE/g. The 2.5% formula lotion has a protective power of 22%, the 5% formula lotion has a power of 62.96%, and the 10% formula lotion has a power of 82.41%. From these results, it can be seen that a formula with a concentration of nutmeg leaf, lemongrass, and bee nests as much as 10% can be the most effective mosquito repellent. The outcomes of this study are expected to help the community select environmentally friendly and safe insect repellents.

Abstract

Abstract,This research is the development research by the following steps: (1) Research and initial data collection, (2) planning, (3) Preparation of Initial Product, (4) initial tests. (5) Repair initial products, (6) The field trials, (7) Improvement of operational products, (8) Test operations, (9) Improved end products, (10) Product Dissemination. The data source in this study consists of 3 experts of product design and including a material expert. And there are 40 students who divided into two classes, 20 students in the class IX-3 as the control class and the others 20 students in the class IX-1 as the experimental class in SMP Negeri 6 Ternate. The purpose of this research is to develop IPA tutoring package and to increase the study results of the students after tutoring. The test results shows the development of IPA tutoring package is very well and worth used in tutoring with the results of 80% and product design test result has reached 83% with a very decent qualitfications and categories very well. For the study result of students at the operational test reveals that there is a different average in learning outcomes of students who use IPA tutoring package to learn and do not use the package. This is evidenced by sig.2-Tailed value < 0.05 where the value of 0.00 <0.05. The results of teacher responses in operational tests of the IPA tutoring package is very well with a percentage of 98%. Then the results of the students responses to learn IPA tutoring package is very good as well with the percentage of 91%. This research has resulted that IPA Tutoring Package facilitate teachers and students to learn better.
