Abstract

Knowledge represent the very important domain to forming of somebody action ( over behavior) because in behavioral research and experience in the reality constituted by knowledge will be more be good than behavior which is not constituted by knowledge. For example in pattern consume the food and beverage oftentimes disregard the existing content in food and beverage of is inclusive of preservative content, which brief during and or old relative will affect to health. Research in region of subdistrict sumbersari of 5 - 8 August 2007 with the amount of population and sampel 105 responden  by simple  random sampling. type of Research korelasional with the approach crosssectional. Test the statistic use the spearman rank test by derajad α= 0,05 which its meaning if P value < 0,05 meaning hypotesa accepted  there is relation between knowledge about preservative food and beverage with the pattern consume the food and beverage or on the contrary. Result of research show the p value 0.06 meaning there no relation , matter enabled by the existence of some factor which signifikan influence needed by a research continue about factor - the factor. Abstract

 Abstract: Joint pain or commonly called arthritis is disease which it often found. Arthritis is a group of heterogeneous disease as that caused by deposition of monosodium urate crystals (MSU) in tissue or because of uric acid super saturation in the extracellular fluid as the most important thing of arthritis inflammation. Arthritis is an inflammation disorder which unknown cause that commonly affects synovial joints. The purpose of this research was to analyze dominant factor associated with dietary habit variables, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), and body mass index (BMI) on uric acid level in arthritis at working area of public health in Jember regency.  The method of this research was correlational with cross sectional design. The technique to take the sample was purposive sample with 31 samples. Questionnaire and observation checklist used to collect the data. The research result based on the logistic regression test with 95% (ɑ ≤ 0.05) was achieved the value of p= 0.038, it means that totally dietary habit variable, BMI, and BUN levels influenced uric acid levels by seeing the value of R square that all three predictor variables influenced uric acid levels approximately 32. The accuracy of prediction variable at three independent variables on the value of uric acid levels was 67.7%. Through bivariate test showed that predictor variables which significantly has correlation on uric acid levels was BMI with significant value 0.026.Conclusion: overall it was achieved that the variable of dietary habit, BMI, and BUN levels influenced uric acid levels and the most correlated on uric acid levels was BMI. Suggestion: implementing low purine diet, enough exercises and periodically checks the function of kidney excretion, especially in a risk group. Keywords: Dominant Factor, Uric Acid, Arthritis

Abstract

Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) harus diselenggarakan di semua tempat kerja, khususnya tempat kerja yang mempunyai risiko bahaya kesehatan. Tujuan Penelitian mengetahui hubungan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja dengan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan di Ruang Rawat infeksi di RSD di Kabupaten Jember. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perawat yang bertugas di ruang rawat inap RS di Jember dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang perawat yang tersebar di tiga ruang yaitu VCT, interna dan bedah. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan skala likert. Data di olah dengan metode analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan mempunyai hubungan linier terhadap kinerja sebesar 55,3% yang artinya 44,7% kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dapat dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini terhadap kinerja petugas dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan. Secara individu variabel yang paling besar memberikan hubungan linier adalah kepuasan sebesar 18,7% sedangkan yang paling rendah adalah variabel persepsi yang memberikan pengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja sebesar 9,61 %. Bagi Pihak rumah sakit dapat mempertahankan kebijakan yang ada dengan melihat hasil yang sudah didapatkan saat ini dan dapat lebih ditingkatkan dengan mempertimbangkan variabel lain yang belum dibahas dalam penelitian ini.Kata Kunci : Analisis Jalur, K3, Kinerja Perawat

Abstract

Pain is a complex sensation that can only be felt by those affected, a person's response to pain is different from one person to another. Phlebitis is an inflammation that occurs in veins that can cause redness, swelling and pain. One way to reduce pain is by applying warm compresses. The type of warm water compress that give the warm water compress it dry. In a dry warm water compresses can withstand temperatures longer than warm water compress wet, but  it  has  little  risk  of  making  sunburn.  The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to determine  the  effect  of  warm  water  compresses  to  pain  in  patients  with phlebitis  in RS DKT  Jember.  This  study is  a  pre-experimental design,  the design of one group pre-test post-test design. Samples in this study were 30 respondents using sampling techniques qouta. Collecting data using a scale VAS (Visual Analog Scale) and the questionnaire ID Pain. The results obtained showed that the measurement of pain in patients with phlebitis before being given a warm water compress Pain ID values obtained with the average value of 1.0333 and VAS pain scale (Visual Analog Scale) after being given a warm water compress on RS DKT Jember obtained average value 0.590 average. Statistical test results obtained by using the Wilcoxon test results obtained p value=0, 000, p<0.05, meaning there is an influence does warm water compresses to pain in patients with phlebitis in RS DKT Jember. This study was recommended to nursing personnel to use warm compresses as an alternative for reducing pain than using pharmacological therapy.Keywords: Dry Warm Water Compresses, Pain, Phlebitis.
