Abstract

Study plans, study modules, practice questions and exams from teachers, results of student exercises and exams, photos and videos of teaching activities, and other teaching files for each subject are teaching data that can be used to obtain quality education. However, some of the data is not documented by Partners in a systematic and comprehensive manner. If the data is physically collected, it will require a repository for the data, so it will take time to organize the warehouse, search for files, and provide files to teachers or students who need the files. To keep teaching data collected without using physical storage warehouses, digital archiving can be used. Google Sites, Google Drive, and Gmail can be used to build digital archives. The USU Mathematics Master’s Program team plans to build a site through Google Sites to archive digital files and to display digital archives that are stored on Google Drive and which can be submitted via Gmail online. In addition, the Team also provides training for Partners to build and develop sites on Google Sites and perform digital archive management on Google Drive and integrate Google Sites and Google Drive with Gmail.

Abstract

Learning media today is one thing that is very important in supporting the success of the student learning process at school. Monotonous learning only in the form of narration makes students bored with the learning process, so teachers must change student learning methods to make it more interesting and of course to improve the learning outcomes of these students. The demands of the times have required teachers to understand digital learning media. Of course, it is accompanied by the teacher's ability to mix and design in such a way that the learning process and the material presented can be in line and not boring. The learning process is basically a communication process through interaction between teachers and students. In the communication process the message is conveyed by the teacher to the recipient of the message or student. In the context of learning in the classroom, the message conveyed can be in the form of teaching materials delivered verbally (oral and written) and / or nonverbally (gestures). Not only teachers as communicators, learners can also act as communicators or messengers. This can happen in the midst of an increasingly modern learning system. Teachers are no longer the only source of learning, but learners can explore themselves to dig up information from various sources and communicate it in the learning process. Thus, there will be two-way communication or multiways traffic communication. Learning with both communication models requires the role of learning media to increase the effectiveness of achieving goals or competencies.

Abstract

Education has had a substantial metamorphosis in the current age of computers and the Internet. The adoption of digital learning technology represents a significant paradigm shift. Schools should optimize the utilization of this technology to enhance learning results. The field of education is seeing significant transformations in the current era of information and technology. Global educational institutions are increasingly using digital-centric learning methods to stay abreast with contemporary advancements. Enhancing the efficiency of technology-driven education in educational institutions is a crucial measure in equipping upcoming generations for the future. The primary advantage of digital learning is its inherent flexibility, since it enables students to access educational resources at their convenience and from any location. This allows them to tailor their learning experience to their individual pace and preferred methods of learning. It aids in surmounting the temporal and spatial limitations associated with traditional education. Furthermore, digital learning facilitates the utilization of a diverse range of educational resources. Students can enhance their comprehension of ideas by utilizing simulations, films, and other interactive materials. The Mathematics Teachers Team at USU organized a Microsoft Excel training session at Husni Thamrin SMAS with the objective of enhancing the teaching and learning paradigm for teachers in schools.
