Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama waktu hidrolisis filtrat abu sekam padi (FASP) pada batang pisang terhadap nilai kecernaan bahan kering (KcBK), kecernaan bahan organic (KcBO), volatile fatty acid (VFA), konsentrasi NH3 dan pH secara in vitro. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah: P0 = Batang Pisang Tanpa hidrolisis FASP; P1 = Batang Pisang Hidrolisis FASP 1 minggu; P2 = Batang Pisang Hidrolisis FASP 2 Minggu; P3 = Batang Pisang Hidrolisis FASP 3 Minggu. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KcBK R0 (61,27 ± 0,442%), R1 (62,95 ± 1,52%), R2 (63,52 ± 1,182%), R3 (64,73 ± 0,75%), KcBO R0 (57,44 ± 0,66%), R1 (58,56 ± 0,96%), R2 (60,50 ± 0,81%), R3 (59,56 ± 1,35%), VFA R0 (80,22 ± 11,17mM/L), R1 (118,51 ± 5,82mM/L), R2 (123,84 ± 2,59mM/L), R3 (127,46 ± 15,78mM/L), konsentrasi NH3 R0 (4,98 ± 0,58mM/L), R1 (6,55 ± 1,02mM/L), R2 (7,17 ± 0,70mM/L), R3 (7,09 ± 0,52mM/L), pH R0 (6,83 ± 0,06), R1 (6,80 ± 0), R2 (6,67 ± 0,15), R3 (6,57 ± 0,06). Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan perlakuan berpangaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap KcBK, KcBO, VFA, NH3, pH. Disimpulkan bahwa lama waktu hidrolisis FASP pada batang pisang yang terbaik adalah 2 minggu oleh karena memberikan KcBK, KcBO, total VFA, konsentrasi NH3 tertinggi dan pH yang normal. Kata kunci: pisang, filtrat abu, sekam, kecernaan, fermentasi, in vitro The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of hydrolysis time duration of rice husk ash filtrate (RAHF) on banana stems on dry matter digestibility (DMD), organic matter digestibility (OMD), VFA, NH3 concentration and pH in vitro. The method used is experimental method using completely randomized design (CRD) 4 treatments with 3 replicates. The treatments applied were: P0 = Banana Stem without RAHF hydrolysis; P1 = Banana Stem Hydrolysed RAHF 1 week; P2 = Banana Stem Hydrolysed RAH 2 Weeks; P3 = Banana Stem Hydrolysed RAH 3 Weeks. The resulsts obtained were: DMD R0 (61.27 ± 0.442%); R1 (62.95 ± 1.52%); R2 (63.52 ± 1.182%), and R3 (64.73 ± 0.75%); OMD R0 (57.44 ± 0.66%), R1 (58.56 ± 0.96%), R2 (60.50 ± 0.81%), and R3 (59.56 ± 1.35%); VFA R0 (80.22 ± 11.17mM/L), R1 (118.51 ± 5.82mM/L), R2 (123.84 ± 2.59mM/L), and R3 (127.46 ± 15.78mM/L); NH3 concentration R0 (4.98 ± 0.58mM/L), R1 (6.55 ± 1.02mM/L), R2 (7.17 ± 0.70mM/L), and R3 (7.09 ± 0.52mM/L); pH R0 (6.83 ± 0.06), R1 (6.80 ± 0), R2 (6.67 ± 0.15), and R3 (6.57 ± 0.06). The data obtained were analused using analysis of variance (ANOVA). Statistical analysis shows that the effect treatment is significant (P <0.05) on DMD, OMD, VFA, NH3, pH. The conclusion is that the best hydrolysis time of RAH is 2 weeks with the highest DMD, OMD, total VFA, and NH3 concentration and normal pH.
