Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is becoming a trend of technology along with the development of data transmission and the human need for the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is a technology term created to connect one object to be able to send data through a transmission medium (internet) without the help of computers and humans. WSN is one of the technological elements in IoT that helps create connectivity. Currently WSN is widely used to assist tasks related to monitoring, evaluating, tracking, controlling things, and others. WSN consists of a collection of small sensors that will collect data and then transmit it. WSN with wireless system is very vulnerable to security holes. Here we will focus on examining the security vulnerabilities of WSN, how to avoid, and protect the WSN network.

Abstract

Padatnya jadwal kegiatan dosen mengakibatkan kelalaian dan keterlambatan dalam mengembangkan karir dosen tersebut. Untuk mencegah disfungsional dosen pada Universitas Bina Bangsa Getsempena (UBBG), peneliti bermaksud menawarkan sebuah aplikasi pengingat waktu pengusulan jabatan fungsional dosen. Aplikasi ini bernama Microsoft to do List Tasks. Aplikasi ini dapat di download pada playstore dari sebuah android atau ponsel pintar. Aplikasi ini merupakan aplikasi pengingat yang berfungsi untuk mengingatkan pengguna untuk melaksanakan kegiatan sesuai dengan waktu dan kegiatan yang telah diatur oleh pengguna. Melalui aplikasi ini, para dosen dapat langsung melihat dokumen apa saja yang harus segera dipersiapkan serta dapat mendokumentasikan kegiatan yang sedang atau telah dilakukan karena telah mendapat peringatan dari sistem aplikasi tersebut. Untuk membantu dosen dalam memahami cara pengusulan, para dosen wajib memiliki kecakapan dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi tersebut. Pengetahuan ini harus dibekalkan kepada dosen dimulai dari pengetahuan tentang dokumen yang menjadi persyaratan pengusulan jabatan fungsional. Tahap pertama terdiri dari beberapa subtahap, yakni: (1) Studi literatur; (2) Wawancara; (3) Analisis kebutuhan sistem, (4) Perancangan dan pembuatan mockup; (5) Penggunaan aplikasi, dan (6) Pengujian aplikasi. Dari penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft to do list Tasks, didapatkan hasil kemajuan jumlah pengusulan jabatan fungsional yang cukup signifikan.

Abstract

The internet is now a part of our lives. Where to create an infrastructure that requires a design, analysis, and implementation to build a network that has comfort, security, and high reliability. Universitas Bina Bangsa Getsempena (UBBG) requires an internet infrastructure network that can be used for high mobility. UBBG builds a network in stages, which emphasizes the level of need for the academic community. In designing this network, it is determined the budget plan provided by the University regarding infrastructure development in the campus environment. In the first phase of this design, the focus is on Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) access, internet access in laboratories, and University Local Area Network (LAN) networks. The results of this study are the effectiveness of network use, the number of connected clients, and the amount of traffic usage
