Abstract

One of the social phenomena that occurs in Indonesia is the prohibition of traditional Javanese marriages from ngalor-ngulon. Ngalor-ngulon marriage is a prohibition for the people in Mlilir Village to conduct marriages in the direction of the groom's house to the bride ngalor-ngulon, meaning that a man is not allowed to marry a woman whose house is north to west and vice versa. This tradition is unique and full of meaning, especially in terms of people's beliefs about the law, which according to researchers is called newmena. Because of this uniqueness, this study aims to determine the factors that influence community beliefs and views of the people of Mlilir Village on the prohibition of Javanese traditional marriages in Muslim communities from the Perspective of Talcott Parsons' Structural Functionalism Theory. This research is a field research, namely research with data collection carried out from field activities. Data was collected by observing for one month and interviews with twelve respondents in written and oral form. The results of the study revealed that the factors that caused the community to maintain the prohibition of ngalor-ngulon marriage in Mlilir Village were the hereditary community beliefs, the majority of the people of Mlilir Village rarely opposed it, because this prohibition had been carried out long ago and is still being carried out until now. Analysis of the structural functionalism theory of the prohibition of marriage ngalor-ngulon Javanese custom In Muslim society, in reality the values, cultural norms, ideas or legal rules that apply are not fully able to answer the social needs of the community. So that individuals in the system must try to manage and overcome them with various alternatives to connect and adapt one part to another.

Abstract

Marriage is an inner and outer bond between a man and a woman as husband and wife to form a happy and eternal family (household) based on God Almighty. Marriage is a legal action, so things or actions that arise as a result of marriage are legal actions that get legal protection. If the marriage is not legally registered, then matters relating to the consequences of marriage cannot be legally resolved. The researcher describes the program from the KUA Kedungadem District in reducing the number of unregistered marriages. File collection methods used are in-depth interviews and documentation techniques. Based on the results of research related to the effectiveness of the Kedungadem Religious Affairs Office program in reducing the number of unregistered marriages in 2017 in terms of time and material, the implementation tends to be effective and successful in reducing the number of unregistered marriages that do not exceed 5 or 0% of unregistered married couples, then in 2018 the time and the implementation was effective and 3 couples did unregistered marriages, so it did not exceed the program target, and then in 2019, this increased to 8 couples who did unregistered marriages so that the program was not successful in reducing the number of unregistered marriages. The program is running and less effective as well as increasing the number of couples who marry sirri. Marriages that meet the requirements and pillars according to religion without being registered at the Office of Religious Affairs are legal enough, but based on regulations in the Indonesian state, marriage is still enforced and is registered in the form of a marriage certificate so that it has legal force. Abstract

Literasi di Pondok Pesantren Al Mu’min Muhammadiyah Tembarak Temanggung telah mengalami perubahan yang menonjol, terutama dalam cara pengajaran dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Perubahan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan cara untuk masuk ke berbagai bahan bacaan, tetapi juga memperkaya proses belajar para santri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana budaya literasi berkembang dan berubah di pesantren, serta bagaimana kontribusi pemikir Islam seperti Al-Ghazali, Ibn Rushd, dan Ibn Khaldun memengaruhi dan membentuk praktik literasi di pesantren tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk mengeksplorasi perubahan literasi di Pondok Pesantren Al Mu’min Muhammadiyah Tembarak Temanggung dari perspektif pemikiran Islam. Informasi diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan santri, ustadz, dan pengurus pesantren, serta melalui observasi partisipatif dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses transformasi literasi di Pondok Pesantren Al Mu’min Muhammadiyah Tembarak Temanggung tidak hanya meningkatkan pengetahuan santri, tetapi juga mengembangkan karakter dan keterampilan kritis yang sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Saran untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut meliputi peningkatan akses terhadap sumber literasi digital, pelatihan literasi bagi guru, dan kerjasama dengan lembaga pendidikan lain untuk memperluas wawasan dan pengalaman belajar. Transformasi Literasi dalam Pemikiran Islam melalui pendekatan Fenomenologi di Pondok Pesantren Al Mu’min Muhammadiyah untuk mengintegrasikan Literasi Digital dalam Pendidikan Islam.
