<![CDATA[ABSTRACTAdvances in information technology cause changes in human life in various fields that affect the birth of new legal actions and have a negative impact that can harm many parties, one of which is in the field of intellectual property, especially Copyright. Currently Indonesia has a legal device in the field of intellectual property is Law No. 28 of 2014 on CiptaRights. One of the objects protected in the field of copyright is cinematography regulated in Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright Article 40 paragraph (1) letter m. In the current problem is there are several websites that provide films such as the website IndoFilm, IndoXII, LAYARKACA21, REBAHIN.COM. These sites give away movies for free but they take advantage through such advertisements, it should be when one wants to take advantage of the economic rights of a creation in any way must obtain the consent of the creator or copyright holder. Key Word: Copyright, Ilegal Film Sites, Law Number 28 Year 2014 ABSTRAKKemajuan teknologi informasi menyebabkan perubahan kehidupan manusia dalam berbagai bidang yang mempengaruhi lahirnya perbuatan hukum baru dan mempunyai dampak negatif yang dapat merugikan banyak pihak salah satunya yaitu dalam bidang kekayaan intelektual khususnya Hak Cipta. Saat ini Indonesia telah memiliki perangkat peraturan perundang-undangan di bidang kekayaan intelektual adalah Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta. Salah satu objek yang dilindungi dibidang Hak Cipta adalah sinematografi yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta Pasal 40 ayat (1) huruf m. Dalam permasalahan saat ini adalah ada beberapa situs website yang menyediakan film ilegal seperti halnya website IndoFilm, IndoXII, LAYARKACA21, REBAHIN.COM. Situs-situs tersebut memberikan film secara gratis namun mereka mengambil keuntungan melalui iklan tersebut, Seharusnya ketika seseorang ingin memanfaatkan hak ekonomi suatu ciptaan dengan cara apapun harus mendapatkan persetujuan dari pencipta atau Pemegang Hak Cipta.
