Abstract

Culture is the whole of human reason, labor, and output that is not based on instinct and can only be triggered by humans after they have completed the learning process. Since it implies almost all aspects of human life, the term is very broad. This study aims to explain the pilgrimage customs of the guardian's grave and its impact on the welfare of the community (a case study at the tomb of Sheikh Maulana Maghribi, Wonobodro Village, Blado District, Batang Regency). Field research (Field Research Field Work) is used in this study, and descriptive method. Collecting data in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation used to collect data. The results of the study explain that the pilgrimage to the tomb of Sheikh Maualana Maghribi Wonobodro has become a tradition or habit of the local community, which comes from various places. Because there are khoul activities every year, the pilgrimage to the tomb of Sheikh Maulana Maghribi is growing. The welfare of the community, especially in Wonobodro Village, is influenced by the tradition of visiting the tomb of Sheikh Maulana Maghribi. This is shown by the pilgrims who visited the tomb of Sheikh Maulana Maghribi Wonobodro which had a positive impact on the economy of the surrounding community because pilgrims from the surrounding community could carry out economic activities such as selling food and drinks, selling opaque crackers, hajj equipment, and so on. So that people can meet their basic needs while still growing financially. Increasing economic welfare has an impact on the creation of community infrastructure, such as the An-Nur Mosque which was established with infaq money collected from grave pilgrims.
