Abstract

A good living environment can support a healthy community life. Activities to assess this situation by carrying out environmental sanitation assessments with aspects related to several things such as the availability of clean water, sanitation for waste disposal, the physical condition of buildings, air quality, as well as other conditions such as transportation facilities, and the availability of social services. This community service is a form of application of the third Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The method used in community service is carried out by observation, socialization, data collection and mentoring/evaluation. The material presented in this socialization was general knowledge about sanitation facilities and healthy lifestyles during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of holding this activity is to increase knowledge and awareness about the importance of sanitation facilities and a good healthy lifestyle for prevention during the Covid-19 pandemic, provide several theories and general descriptions of the usefulness of good sanitation facilities developed in daily life and sustainable lifestyles. clean and healthy which should be made a habit in the community, especially the place to live, disseminating information conveyed to family, relatives, friends so that the knowledge gained can be absorbed and spread widely and apply it in everyday life. The benefits of this program activity are that the community can apply hygiene in household sanitation, educate and provide comfort for the people around us. Always reminding each other how important health is, starting from the household environment, maintaining cleanliness in every home, conducting community associations for healthy and clean environments such as waste banks, mutual cooperation, and community service.

Abstract

Pulo Kaum is one of the remote hamlets within the administrative scope of Kutagandok Village, Kutawaluya District, Karawang Regency, West Java. Unexpectedly, it turns out that this remote village in the middle of a hug rice field, there is potential of all fields. there are several duck breeders who produce boiled salted eggs and are produced in a traditional way with the amount of production not being too large. Since marketing is limited due to many similar industries in a single village as well as in a sub-region, almost every sub-region also has salted egg production communities. because duck eggs have a relatively cheap selling value here, it is necessary to do smoking to increase the selling value of the duck eggs and of course this process can also help the duck eggs to be durable. The purpose of this activity is to increase the selling value of duck eggs, and of course this process can also contribute to the durability of ducks eggs. The aim of this activity is to increase the sales value of duck eggs and to produce sustainable duck eggs using the smoking method. The operation will take place from August to September 2022 in Pulo Kaum Hamlet, Kutagandok Village, Kutawaluya District, Karawang Regency, West Java. The method of carrying out the activity consists of counseling, training and mentoring the residents of Pulo Kaum Hamlet, especially the housewives. The result of this program is an increase in sales value and income from the sale of smoked salted eggs, as well as the creation of smoked salted eggs with a longer shelf life. The conclusion of this program is that producing more and more duck eggs can further increase profits.

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of optimality of the Village Head in conducting comprehensive data collection on village officials from various aspects of qualifications, competence, work experience, less than optimal in providing direction and coaching continuously as well as technical trainings to improve skills and job performance to the village apparatus so that what is planned is not optimally achieved and less than optimal in evaluating the results of the performance of village apparatus to achieve the desired results better. The village has developed in various forms so that it needs to be protected and empowered so that it becomes stronger, advanced, independent and democratic so that it can create a strong foundation in carrying out governance and development towards a just, prosperous and prosperous society. Administrative management in Village Government is an obligation that must be carried out. With the formation of good village government administration, good governance will be formed, development will run smoothly and social life will be orderly. A good and correct village administration system will create an orderly administration, that is, it can provide easy data and information for the community and for the village government in making policies.
