Abstract

The importance of maintaining the environment so that the earth remains sustainable, efforts need to be made to develop character education "Love the Environment" for elementary school residents and train students to form individuals who care about the surrounding natural environment through greening programs. This program is carried out in the neighborhood around MI Al-Mumtaz Pathuk, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. It consists of several stages, namely character education counseling, gardenization programs, and reading garden spots. The series of program implementations were carried out well for six months from October 2020 to March 2021. The result of this activity is to educate the importance of preserving the environment, increase awareness of the importance of protecting the environment, form a positive character "Love the Environment" in students and school residents.

Abstract

Pentingnya peran pendidik dan peserta didik dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan hidup. Terutama di lingkungan sekolah agar aman dan nyaman digunakan sebagai tempat belajar maupun media belajar. Perlu upaya untuk mengembangkan pendidikan karakter “peduli lingkungan” melalui program praktik pembelajaran untuk menginisiasi budaya peduli lingkungan di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melatih karakter “peduli lingkungan” pada guru dan siswa untuk membentuk pribadi yang peduli terhadap lingkungan alam sekitar melalui program praktik pembelajaran. Program ini dilaksanakan di MI Al-Mumtaz Pathuk, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Program praktik pembelajaran ada dua tahap yaitu Pendampingan Guru Kelas dan Praktik Permodelan Pembelajaran. Rangkaian pelaksanaan program kegiatan pengabdian telah dilaksanakan dengan baik selama enam bulan dari bulan Oktober 2020 sampai dengan Maret 2021, yang meliputi: koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah, pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian, dan pembuatan laporan pengabdian. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah mengedukasi pentingnya menjaga kelestarian alam dan peningkatan kesadaran sehingga membentuk karakter positif “peduli lingkungan” pada diri guru dan siswa di MI Al-Mumtaz Pathuk Gunungkidul.

Abstract

Fatimatu Zahroh, The Effect of Islamic Boarding Schools on the Planting of Pancasila Student Profiles in Archery Elementary School Students' Independent Curriculum. Yogyakarta: PGSD FIP Study Program, Nahdlatul Ulama University,Yogyakarta,2023. This study aims to determine whether Islamic boarding schools influence the cultivation of Pancasila student profiles in the independent curriculum of SDNU Pemanahan students. The research method used is quantitative research using survey techniques. The population in this study were grade I and grade IV SDNU Pemanahan students who had used the independent curriculum in learning. The research sample of 60 students was taken from class I and class IV who had used the independent curriculum in learning. The data collection technique used in this research is using a questionnaire. Test the instrument's validity using the Product Moment correlation formula from Pearson, while the reliability test uses the Alpha Cronbach formula. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, and analysis prerequisite tests, namely the normality test and linearity test, hypothesis testing is carried out using a simple analysis technique with the Product Moment correlation formula. The research was conducted from February to May 2023 at Pemanahan Elementary School. The subjects this study included teachers and students of class I and IV SDNU Pemanahan. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between Islamic boarding schools and the planting of Pancasila student profiles in the independent curriculum of SDNU Pemanahan students as evidenced by the r-value of 0.542 which means there is a positive relationship because there is no negative sign, then the recount value of 0.542 is greater than the rateable value of 0.254 indicating that there is a significant relationship. The relationship between Islamic boarding schools and the profile of Pancasila students in this study has a coefficient of determination of 0.294 or 29.4%. That is, the variance that occurs in the profile of Pancasila students is determined by Islamic boarding schools at 29.4%. From the results of the study, the hypothesis which states that there is a relationship between Islamic boarding schools and the profile of Pancasila students at SDNU Pemanahan students is accepted.
