Abstract

Success in a learning process can not be separated from the role of teacher during the process. In the learning process, lecturer can choose and   use several methods of teaching that aims to make learning more interesting. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of role playing for Human Resources Management I subject in improving learning outcomes, level of creativity and liveliness of the third semester students of Management Department Faculty of Economic of  Unimed. The technique of collecting data from this study is the result from pre test before action class research and the data from each cycle divided into first and second cycle. The sample used in this study were  two classes A and B, total 75 students. The results showed that there was increasing in activity and learning outcomes of the students. The average score of pre test was 58, and from the first cycle increased to be 67 then the  average of second cycle increased to be 81. Student activity in the affective aspect increased from cycle I to cycle II. In the first cycle,  got percentage of average ability students were 35% (less successful), and on the second cycle increased to 84% (successful). Thus, it can be concluded that the role playing is effective for learning model to improve learning outcomes of the students from the first cycle to the second cycle.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of Country Of Origin and Electronic Word Of Mouth on Buying Interest Buldak Bokkeummyeon (Samyang) among students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Medan. This study uses quantitative methods with sampling techniques using Purposive Sampling, with a total sample of 100 people who are students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Medan. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires whose measurements were made with a Likert scale and were statistically processed using multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using the t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2), which previously had the data tested using the validity test, test reliability and classic assumption test. Data processing using SPSS 22.0 for windows. The results showed that Country Of Origin had a positive effect on Buying Interest and Electronic Word Of Mouth had a positive effect on Buying Interest. Keywords: Country Of Origin, Electronic Word Of Mouth, Interest Buying Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Country Of Origin dan Electronic Word Of Mouth terhadap Minat Beli Buldak Bokkeummyeon (Samyang) pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 orang yang merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner yang pengukurannya dengan skala likert dan diolah secara statistik menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dan pengujian hipotesis dengan uji t, uji F dan koefisien determinasi (R2) yang sebelumnya data telah diuji menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji asumsi klasik. Pengolahan data menggunakan program SPSS for windows 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Country Of Origin berpengaruh positif terhadap Minat Beli dan Electronic Word Of Mouth berpengaruh positif terhadap Minat Beli. Kata Kunci: Country Of Origin, Electronic Word Of Mouth, Minat Beli

Abstract

This journal explores the importance of transparency in effective communication at PT Alpen Food Industry regarding overtime wages in work contracts. Using qualitative literature study methods, this research investigates various literature sources relevant to this topic. An in-depth analysis of the literature reveals that transparency in organizational communications plays a crucial role in building trust, minimizing conflict, and increasing employee engagement. By using a qualitative approach, this research obtained an in-depth understanding of the importance of transparent communication in the context of overtime wages at PT Alpen Food Industry. The practical implication of this research is the need for companies to increase transparent communication as a foundation for healthy relationships between management and employees. This research contributes to further understanding of communication dynamics in human resource management and sustainable organizational development.

Abstract

This journal reveals issues at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) due to a lack of communication involving the Lapkeu Garuda turmoil, which implicates the OJK (Financial Services Authority), primarily stemming from miscommunication problems between the OJK and Garuda Indonesia's management. Insufficient communication adversely impacts the company's performance and results in inaccurate and non-transparent financial reporting. Utilizing a qualitative literature review method, this research investigates various relevant literature sources on the topic. The study aims to explore the significance of transparency concerning the communication deficit at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero), particularly regarding the Lapkeui Garuda turmoil and the OJK's role in financial statement analysis. This journal provides practical implications, indicating that transparency in financial reporting is not only an obligation but also a long-term investment for sustainability and company growth. The company needs to enhance both internal and external communication and improve collaboration with regulators to ensure adequate transparency in financial information dissemination. Collaborative efforts will aid in restoring stakeholder trust, reducing reputation risks, and establishing a strong foundation for sustainable business growth.

Abstract

Vertical communication is the process of exchanging information, ideas, or instructions that occurs between various hierarchical levels or strata in an organization. This research aims to analyze and improve the effectiveness of vertical communication in the PT Pos Medan company environment through an analytical approach to the dynamics of interaction between hierarchical levels. Effective vertical communication is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of information and coordination within the organization. In this research, we use an analytical approach to understand communication patterns between management levels, identify factors inhibiting communication, and evaluate strategies that can improve collaboration and coordination between organizational levels.

Abstract

This research aims to identify horizontal communication barriers faced by PT Masterindo Jaya Global Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, descriptive data were obtained through literature study and observation of the research subjects, namely companies in Indonesia that experience horizontal communication problems. The results of qualitative data analysis show that communication barriers between units within the company can interfere with operational efficiency and effectiveness. Based on the findings, several solutions are proposed, such as choosing the right communication method, using easy-to-understand language, giving and asking for feedback in communication, increasing openness, maintaining harmonious inter-personal relationships, planning job placements correctly, and clarifying relationships within the organisation. This research is expected to provide better insight into horizontal communication and provide guidance for managers and management system developers to improve communication effectiveness within the company.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the international business perspective on the leading technology company, Apple Inc. In an era of increasingly advanced globalization, international business has become an important factor in company growth and success. The research method used is descriptive analysis by collecting secondary data from various sources such as financial reports, industry publications and related academic articles. Communications technology has become a major force in changing the modern business landscape. Leading technology companies such as Apple Inc. is an important example of how the application of communications technology impacts business operations and strategy. This research aims to investigate the influence of communication technology on modern business at Apple Inc. This research uses a qualitative approach by collecting data from various sources, including related literature, news analysis, and Apple's financial reports. The results of the analysis show that communications technology has had a major impact on Apple's business, both in terms of product development, marketing and customer service. In product development, Apple has utilized communications technology to increase innovation and efficiency. Through communication platforms such as video conferencing and online collaboration, Apple development teams can work effectively even in different locations around the world. Apart from that, communication technology also allows Apple to interact more closely with customers, whether through social media, online customer service, or direct communication platforms such as instant messaging. However, there are also challenges that Apple faces in adopting communication technology. One of them is the issue of data privacy and security, which is increasingly important amidst increasing public attention to data privacy. Apple has attempted to address these challenges through innovations in encryption technology and strict privacy policies.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the case of unilateral termination of employment (PHK) at PT Smartfren Telecom TBK sought by the trade union association. This research method uses a qualitative research method that involves collecting and analyzing data from a variety of source articles, also known as the literature review method. In the telecommunications industry, the role of communication and deliberation is important in overcoming challenges such as layoffs. This study highlights the importance of effective communication between company management and employees to properly manage layoffs. Empathetic and clear communication helps build better relationships and reduce conflict. In addition, deliberation allows different parties to participate in finding fair and sustainable solutions. With this approach, companies can better manage layoffs, while taking into account the interests and welfare of employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi konflik buruh di PT Megariamas, yang dipengaruhi oleh ketidakpuasan terhadap upah, Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR), dan kondisi kerja yang buruk. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan konflik antara buruh dan perusahaan mencakup upah yang rendah, kondisi kerja yang tidak memadai, dan kurangnya komunikasi yang efektif. Penyelesaian konflik memerlukan pendekatan yang komprehensif, termasuk dialog, negosiasi, mediasi, penerapan regulasi, advokasi hukum, dan pendekatan multi-stakeholder. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan melakukan review kasus buruh dari jurnal-jurnal terkait. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penyelesaian konflik secara efektif untuk menciptakan hubungan industrial yang harmonis dan berkeadilan di PT Megariamas. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi praktisi, akademisi, dan pemangku kepentingan terkait dalam penyelesaian konflik buruh di perusahaan.
