Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat persepsi para pengelola homestay di Desa Pulisan terhadap kualitas pelayanan yang mereka sediakan dan untuk merekomendasikan strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan tersebut. Teknik metode campuran digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan menggabungkan penggunaan metode kuantitatif (rentang) dan metode kualitatif (analisis SWOT). Responden terdiri dari 15 pengelola homestay di Desa Pulisan yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan para pengelola setuju bahwa kualitas pelayanan yang mereka sediakan sudah baik. Beberapa strategi juga direkomendasikan, antara lain melengkapi fasilitas yang masih kurang, memberikan pelatihan bahasa asing, dan meningkatkan promosi. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the perception of homestays managers in Pulisan Village with regards to their provision of service quality and to recommend a set of strategies to improve their service quality. A mixed method approach is implemented by combining quantitative (range) and qualitative (SWOT Analysis) methods. The respondents comprises 15 homestay managers in Pulisan Village that are selected randomly. The results indicate that the managers agree that their provision of service quality has been good. Also, several strategies are recommended, such as completing facilities that are still lacking, providing foreign language training, and promoting the homestays to domestic and foreign visitors.
