<![CDATA[Setiap peserta didik memiliki pemahaman yang berbeda-beda. Ada anak yang memiliki daya tangkap yang cepat (cepat dalam memahami pelajaran), ada anak yang memiliki daya tangkap yang sedang dan ada juga anak yang memiliki daya tangkap yang kurang. Maka dari itu pentingnya pembelajaran ataupun belajar bagi peserta didik sehingga peserta tersebut dapat mengalami perubahan, dari yang tidak tahu menjadi tahu, dari yang negatif menjadi positif. Maka dengan itu peneliti melakukan penelitian tentang mengapa peserta didik ditingkat SMA kurang tertarik pada pelajaran matematika, faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi peserta didik tidak menyukai pelajaran matematika dan konsep pelajaran seperti apa yang paling disukai oleh peserta didik. Adapun tujuan peneliti melakukan mini riset ini adalah untuk mengetahui mengapa peserta didik kurang tertarik dengan pelajaran matematika, untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi peserta didik tersebut kurang memahami maupun tidak suka terhadap pelajaran matematika, serta untuk mengetahui konsep belajar seperti apa yang mereka sukai. Adapun metode yang peneliti gunakan adalah metode kualitatif, responden yang diambil berasal dari peserta didik SMA Swasta Nurul Islam Indonesia yang berasal dari kelas XI- XII yang berjumlah 30 orang. Ternyata dari 30 peserta didik tersebut masih banyak yang menganggap bahwa matematika itu sulit, dikarenakan banyak rumus-rumus yang harus mereka kuasai, sampai sulitnya memahami penjelasan yang guru berikan. Selain itu jugabanyak faktor yang mempengaruhi seorang peserta didik tidak dapat memahami pembelajaran yaitu faktor yang berasal dari luar diri peserta didik maupun faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri peserta didik tersebut.Kata Kunci : Penghambat; Belajar; Pelajaran; Matematika Abstract Each student has a different understanding. There are children who have fast grasping power (fast in understanding lessons), there are children who have medium grasping power and there are also children who have less grasping power. Therefore the importance of learning or learning for students so that these participants can experiencechanges, from those who do not know to know, from negative to positive. So with that researchers conducted research on why students at the high school level were less interested in mathematics, what factors influenced students not to like mathematics and what kind of lesson concepts were most liked by students. The purpose of the researcher conducting thismini research is to find out why students are less interested in mathematics, to find out what factors influence the students' lack of understanding or dislike of mathematics, and to find out what learning concepts they like. The method that the researcher uses is a qualitative method, the respondents are taken from the students of SMA Private Nurul Islam Indonesiafrom class XI-XII, totaling 30 people. It turned out that of the 30 students, there were still many who thought that mathematics was difficult, because there were many formulas they had to master, making it difficult to understand the explanations given by the teacher.
