Abstract

Basiuni Imran is a 20th-century Sambas scholar who once studied with M Rasyid Ridha, so Rasyid Ridha's Islamic reforms ideas were also internalized by M. Basiuni Imran in some of the educational institutions in Sambas. However, in the interpretation, especially the Tafsir of Q.S Al-Fatihah M. Basiuni Imran does not accommodate the value of Islamic reform but interprets it with a Sufistic pattern. On the other hand, no solid information has been found about his Tarekat affiliations or Tarekat tendencies, thus strengthening the indication of his Sufism. Therefore, this research needs to be conducted. This study is library research with a descriptive-analytic model and uses the theory of genealogy and actor networks as an analytical framework. The conclusion of this article explains that the pattern of Sufism narrated by M. Basiuni Imran in interpreting Q.S. Al-Fatihah is by correlating Q.S. Al-Fatihah with Prayers. According to him, prayer is not only done with physical actions but also needs to focus the heart and soul on Allah SWT. He illustrated with the Qibla physically the direction of the Ka’bah is the Qibla during prayer. But in essence, the Qiblah faces the heart to Allah SWT. The factors that influence M. Basiuni Imran's Sufism thought are 1) the relationship of M. Basiuni Imran with some of his Sufism teachers, 2) the socio-religious conditions when writing the interpretation, and 3) the relationship between the book of Sufism and the book of interpretation by M. Basiuni Imran.

Abstract

Claims that women are weak, not authoritative, and tend to use their feelings, make women discriminated against in the public sphere. Even in Islamic history, women are considered worthless so when a baby girl is born, it is considered a disgrace, and many are buried alive. Thus, in accordance with the times and knowledge, this paper will review the roles and gait of women, especially in their capacity as leaders. This paper will examine the text of the prophet's hadith about women's leadership and try to contextualize it with Indonesian reality. The conclusion of this article is that women are given things and obligations to become leaders as long as they have the capacity, capability, and quality to carry out their duties and responsibilities. So, in the context of 'worldly' leadership, it is not seen from gender, but from the qualifications, capabilities, and qualities possessed by a person.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the lack of studies on the methodological configuration of al-Fatihah's interpretation in Tarjuman al-Mustafid. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting this study further. This type of research is library research using the primary data source of the interpretation of Tarjuman al-Mustafid by Abd Ar-Rauf As-Singkili which is focused on the interpretation of al-Fatihah. The method used is a descriptive-analytical method. The conclusion of this article explains that: First, the Systematic Interpretation of As-Singkili is explaining the Makkiyah or Madaniyah letter, explaining the benefits of the letter and its asbab an-nuzul, writing the text of the verse without translation, and then doing the interpretation. Second, the source of interpretation uses munasabah, hadith, and scholars' arguments (quotations from other interpretations). Third, the principles of interpretation are 1) the Principles of Letter Description; 2) The Qiraat Accentuation Principle; 3) the Principles of Global-Parochial Interpretation; and 4) the Principles of Textual Interpretation. Fourth, the Caustive-Axiological interpretation carried out by As-Singkili in interpreting al-Fatihah emphasizes the socio-cultural aspect and minimizes differences of opinion in reading (qiraat) on the verse malikiyaumiddin.
