Abstract

Budaya sebagai warisan leluhur memang akan berubah seiring perjalanan waktu. Kendati demikian, setiap generasi penerus hendaknya memiliki kesadaran untuk tetap melestarikannya sebagai harta yang berharga. Bahkan hendaknya kita terdorong untuk terus memertahankan keaslian budaya sebagai kearifan lokal yang dapat diwariskan pada generasi mendatang. Transformasi budaya hendaknya tidak dilihat sebagai dilema yang menggelisahkan, namun harus dijadikan sebagai tantangan untuk memertahankan kearifan budaya warisan leluhur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai pemahaman remaja di Stasi Santo Paulus Bumi Etam Kaubun, Paroki Santo Yosef Bontang, tentang Perayaan Sabda Hari Minggu dan Hari Raya. Kajian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis fenomenologis. Instrumen teoritik yang dipakai untuk mengukur pemahaman remaja diambil dari teori Skemp mengenai dua kategori pemahaman yaitu pemahaman instrumental dan pemahaman relasional, yang bisa berpola siklis ataupun non siklis. Indikator Pemahaman tentang Perayaan Sabda dilihat dari pemahaman terhadap Tata Perayaan Sabda, pemahaman terhadap Tata Gerak dan pemahaman terhadap Petugas dalam Perayaan Sabda hari Minggu dan hari Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD), Observasi, Wawancara dan Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman para remaja tentang Perayaan Sabda Hari Minggu dan Hari Raya termasuk kategori pemahaman Relasional Sederhana, karena para remaja memahami dengan baik 2 dari 3 indikator dalam Perayaan Sabda yang disebutkan di atas, yakni Tata Gerak dan Petugas dalam Perayaan Sabda yang saling berkaitan. Sedangkan Pola Pemahaman remaja tentang Perayaan Sabda Hari Minggu dan Hari Raya yang ditemukan adalah Pola Siklis. Pola siklis terjadi dengan adanya pemahaman para remaja mengenai hubungan saling terkait secara terus menerus antara empat aspek yaitu antara aspek sikap, pembelajaran, pemahaman dan keterlibatan. Hubungan antara keempat aspek tersebut timbul dalam kaitannya dengan tiga pemikiran sentral mengenai Perayaan Sabda yaitu Kerinduan Spiritual untuk mengikuti Perayaan Sabda, Menanggapi Undangan Ilahi yang telah mendorong hadir dalam Perayaan Sabda, serta Partisipasi aktif dan sadar dalam Perayaan Sabda.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the implementation, the challenges, and the strategy of the Diaconia Caritative that has been implement in the social and religious activities, and to analyze the four elements in SWOT Analysis of the implementation of this program in order to discover the new description of strategy of the said program. This research uses the qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The data gathering method that is being used is through field observation, interview and photograph documentation. The result of the research data is program shows the challenges and the strategy to overcome the challenges. The result of the SWOT analysis shows the tendency of formulating two new strategies. The first is the strategy SO and the second strategy is WO.

Abstract

This paper elaborates the Writer’s views on the crime committed by a Roman Catholic Priest as showed in the film entitled The Crime of Padre Amaro. The crime proceeded from the Priest’s closeness to a girl named Amelia, one of his Church members, advanced to mutual love and affection between them, accompanied with sexual relation as a husband and wife, until Amelia got pregnant, and was forced by Padre Amaro to have an abortion, which ended with Amelia’s death because of the abortion. The views on the crime are posed by the Writer from the perspectives of Principal Moral Theology, by elaborating some principal moral value judgements on Padre Amaro’s treatments towards Amelia. For the purpose the Writer is doing his best to show all the principal moral value aspects violated by Padre Amaro in the entire range of his unfavourable deeds. An explanation of the Holy Church views of Padre Amaro’s deeds are also briefly provided by the Writer. Drawing lesson learned from the violation and crime conducted by Padre Amaro, the Writer suggests some recommended measures that should be taken so that we will not fall into the same faults. Amongst them are Cultivating Conscience, Understanding and Considering Values in all our actions, and Holistic Sexuality Education.

Abstract

The research showed that the forms of participation of the people is the power, property and the mind. The mechanism of participation is mandatory monthly donation program, the annual compulsory contributions, the garden parish, parish fields. The participation rate is power, tokenism and participation. The research of data analysis showed that the participation of the people cannot be measured using indicators of the level of participation, because any form of participation in the context of the independence of the funds related to each other. So the more suitable analytical framework for understanding the participation of the people is the idea of the circle of participation. Based on the idea of the circle of participation, then the model participation people in the independence of the fund in the parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Laham is participation cycle model. Cycle characterized by the benefits of participation, cooperation and partnership, mutual learning. Cycle participation in line with the core view of a church that looked at the relationship between participation intertwined with the alliance. Participation in the form of donations turned fellowship, and communion as participation turned container. So, they can say that participation is a tension between the alliance and donations.

Abstract

This research objectives to find out the teacher’s improved performance by the implementation of the School Principal’s visionary leadership at SDN 004 Busang, by comparing the Teacher’s performance before and after the implementation of the School Principal’s visionary leadership at SDN 004 Busang. This Population is the number of research subject, in this case all of the 14 Teachers or educators at SDN 004 Busang who were taken as the total sampel. The techniques used to collect data in this research using documentation research and questionnaire. Based on the responses of the respondent to the questionnaire, the School Principal’s visionary leadership score reachs 1329 and belongs to strong category with the portion of 75%. While for the improved Teacher’s performance, the hypothesis t-value test, resulted t-counted (3.66) > t-table (2.16), so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means there were was significant improvement Teacher’s performance by on the implementation of the School Principal’s visionary leadership, and there for the hypothesis proposed in this research is proved.

Abstract

The study aimed to comprehend the ceremonies and symbols (artifacts, activities and verbal expressions) used in the Customary Wedding Rite of the Bahau Busang Dayak and in the Wedding Celebration of Catholic Church, and disclose the meanings of the ceremonies and symbols (artifacts, activities and verbal expressions) used in the Customary Wedding Rite of the Bahau Busang Dayak and in the Wedding Celebration of Catholic Church, showing the similarities and differences found in Customary Wedding Rite of the Bahau Busang Dayak and in the Wedding Celebration of Catholic Church. The results of the research show that the Wedding Celebration of the Catholic Church and the Customary Wedding Rite of the Bahau Busang Dayak share some similarities and have differences, seen from the processions of the Celebration and Rite, and from the symbols being used. A good comprehension of those similarities and differences would enable the members of the Bahau Busang Dayak communities to have their faith in the Catholic religion with the apprehension of similarities of the religion values and the customary values. The similarities could bee seen from the same meaning and purpose to reach marriage happiness and loftiness in the fulfilment of their life and faith in God. Practically the findings of this minor thesis are expected to be used as the materials for the preparation of Catholic Catechesis for the Bahau Busang Dayak communities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of secretarial data management in supporting the pastoral management of the parish in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Mangkupakas Parish. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach with data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the implementation of six patterns of secretarial data management activities, namely gathering, recording, managing, organizing, sending, and storing data, was instrumental in supporting the four main steps of parish pastoral management namely planning, organizing, leadership and supervision. The data of the faithful that is done well, effectively and efficiently and the vision of the Parish Church is achieved is the result of collaboration and hard work of both the Parish Priest, the Parish Pastoral Council, the Territorial Pastoral Council and the Base Community Pastoral Council supported by the involvement of the people in the parish pastoral work in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Mangkupalas Parish, by showing good planning, clear organization, responsible leadership, and supervision and evaluation in every pastoral activity carried out.
