Abstract

Road infrastructure development is one of the government's efforts to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people, both in urban areas and in remote areas. The use of local materials for road pavement is recommended that its use can be maximized and can reduce dependence on materials originating from outside the region. Poso Regency is one area that has the potential to have a source of material in the form of mountain rock aggregates. The purpose of the study was to determine the characteristics of the AC-WC mixture using aggregate from Mount Bou Buya, Poso Regency, and to determine the Marshall Immersion value of the AC-WC mixture using rock aggregate from Mount Bou Buya. The 2018 Bina Marga General Specifications are used as a reference in this study. the composition of the mixture for asphalt content of 5% coarse aggregate is 37.50%, fine aggregate is 51.50%, filler is 6%, for asphalt content is 5.5% coarse aggregate is 37.35%, fine aggregate is 51.20%, filler 5 ,95%, for asphalt content of 6%, coarse aggregate is 37.20%, fine aggregate is 50.90%, filler is 5.90%, for asphalt content is 6.5%, coarse aggregate is 37.05%, fine aggregate is 50.60 %, 5.85% filler, for asphalt content of 7%, coarse aggregate is 36.90%, fine aggregate is 50.30%, filler is 5.80%. Marshall Immersion Test (residual Marshall Stability) for the AC – WC mixture using Batu Gunung Bou Buya aggregate, Poso Regency following the General Specifications of Highways 2018, which is 98.04%.

Abstract

Penggunaan batu gunung dari Desa Buntao’ masih terbatas untuk pondasi bangunan serta pasangan talut dan belum dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan dasar lapisan tipis aspal beton (LATASTON). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik batu gunung dari Desa Buntao’ sebagai komposisi campuran perkerasan LATASTON HRS-WC gradasi senjang dan semi senjang, dan mengetahui karakteristik Marshall, serta Indeks Kekuatan Sisa pada campuran tersebut. Metode penelitian melalui penelitian laboratorium yaitu pengujian Marshall. Hasil pengujian marshall diperoleh nilai karakteristik Marshall campuran LATASTON HRS-WC Gradasi Senjang dan Semi Senjang yaitu nilai VIM sebesar 5,62% (Senjang) dan 5,63% (Semi Senjang), nilai Stabilitas sebesar 1680,29 kg (Senjang) dan 1347,92 kg (Semi Senjang), nilai VMA sebesar 18,03% (Senjang) dan 18,14% (Semi Senjang) dan nilai flow sebesar 4,70 mm (Senjang) dan 4,40 mm (Semi Senjang) serta Kadar Aspal 7,6% (Senjang) dan 7,6% (Semi Senjang). Untuk nilai Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (Indeks Perendaman) dari hasil pengujian Marshall Immersion sebesar 93.73 % untuk Senjang, dan 97,48% untuk Semi Senjang. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan abu batu apung dari Tidore Provinsi Maluku Utara sebagai pengganti filler pada campuran Lataston HRS-Base bergradasi senjang dan semi senjang. Metode pengujian, yaitu berat jenis filler abu batu apung, uji Marshall Konvensional dan Marshall Immertion. Melalui uji Marshall diperoleh nilai karakteristik campuran Lataston HRS-Base bergradasi senjang dan semi senjang. Hasil pengujian Marshall Immertion campuran Lataston HRS-Base bergradasi senjang dan semi senjang dengan menggunakan kadar filler optimum didapatkan Indeks Perendaman (IP) / Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) / Durabilitas campuran sebesar 90,86% dan 91,49% yang berarti melampaui syarat batas yaitu ≥90% sehingga campuran tahan terhadap perendaman dalam air Kata Kunci : Abu batu apung, Lataston HRS-Base, Pengujian Marshall.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji karakteristik campuran Laston AC-WC dan AC-BC dengan batu dan pasir dari Sungai Wanggar. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan serangkaian pengujian karakteristik berupa agregat kasar, halus dan filler lalu merancang komposisi campuran kemudian pembuatan benda uji berupa campuran Laston AC-WC dan AC-BC serta pengujian Marshall untuk mendapatkan karakteristik campuran dan pengujian Marshall Immertion untuk mendapatkan Indeks Perendaman (IP) / Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) / Durabilitas campuran yang berkadar filler optimum.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik bahan perkerasan dengan mengunakan batu apung sebagai filler memenuhi spesifikasi sebagai bahan lapisan perkerasan jalan. Melalui uji Marshall diperoleh karakteristik campuran Laston AC-WC dengan kadar aspal 6,50% dan Laston AC-BC dengan kadar aspal 5,14%. Hasil pengujian Marshall Immertion campuran Laston AC-WC dan Laston AC-BC mendapatkan Indeks Perendaman (IP) / Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) sebesar 95,11% dan 94,41% yang berarti melampaui syarat batas yaitu ≥90% sehingga campuran tahan terhadap perendaman dalam air. Abstract

Penelitian ini dimasukkan untuk menguji karakteristik campuran Lataston HRS-Base dengan memanfaatkan slag nikel berdasarkan pengujian laboratorium. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik bahan perkerasan berupa slag nikel dari Soroako Kab. Luwu Timur memenuhi spasifikasi sebagai bahan lapisan permukaan jalan. Melalui uji Marshall diperoleh karakteristik campuran Lataston HRS-Base bergradasi senjang dan semi senjang dengan kadar aspal 5,0%, 5,93%, 6,35%, 6,78, dan 7,2% memenuhi persyaratan. Hasil pengujian Marshall Immertion campuran Lataston HRS-Base bergradasi senjang dan semi senjang pada kadar aspal optimum 6,35% mendapatkan Indeks Perendaman (IP) / Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) / Durabilitas campuran sebesar 97,03% dan 98,00% Dimana dari hasil penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan slag nikel sebagai pengganti agregat kasar dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan perkerasan jalan karena memenuhi Standar Spesifikasi Bina Marga. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk merancang komposisi dan menganalisis karakteristik marshall dan indeks kekuatan sisa campuran Lataston HRS-WC gradasi senjang dan semi senjang yang memanfaatkan batu apung dari Provinsi Maluku Utara, Pulau Ternate sebagai pengganti filler. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan serangkaian pengujian karakteristik berupa agregat kasar, halus dan filler lalu merancang komposisi campuran kemudian pembuatan benda uji berupa campuran Lataston HRS-WC bergradasi senjang dan semi senjang serta pengujian Marshall untuk mendapatkan karakteristik campuran dan pengujian Marshall Immertion untuk mendapatkan Indeks Perendaman (IP) / Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) / Durabilitas campuran yang berkadar filler optimum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik abu batu apung memenuhi spesifikasi sebagai bahan pengganti filler pada campuran Lataston HRS-WC gradasi senjang dan semi senjang. Melalui uji Marshall diperoleh karakteristik campuran Lataston HRS-WC bergradasi senjang dan semi senjang dengan kadar aspal 6,75%. Hasil pengujian Marshall Immertion campuran Lataston HRS-WC bergradasi senjang dan semi senjang dengan kadar filler optimum 100% mendapatkan Indeks Perendaman (IP) / Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) / Durabilitas campuran sebesar 95,73% dan 96,66% yang artinya campuran tersebut tahan terhadap suhu, lamanya terendam air. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the value of stability, VIM, VFB, MQ with substitution LGA content 0% 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5% and 15% against hard asphalt with asphalt content of 5% . The methodology in this research is to conduct a series of testing of characteristics in the form of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, fillers and asphalt and then design the composition of the mixture then make the specimen in the form of a rough HRS (HRS Base) and Marshall testing to obtain an Immersion Index (IP) / Residual Strength Index ( IKS) / Durability of the mixture using optimum asphalt content. The results of research conducted at the Road and Asphalt Laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Indonesian Christian University Paulus Makassar, showed the replacement of oil asphalt with several variants of LGA 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5% , 15% obtained the value of Stability, VIM, VFB, VMA, and MQ. The results showed that the optimum asphalt content was 10% with a Stability value of 3083.60 kg, VIM value of 0.19%, VMA of 18,602%, VFB of 67,974, MQ of 906.88 kg / mm, and immersion index (IP) of 95.21%.

Abstract

This research is intended to examine the characteristics of AC-WC mixture by utilizing aggregates from the Mawa river, Cendana District. The method in this research is to conduct a series of characteristics testing in the form of fine aggregates, coarse, and fillers then design the composition of the mixture then manufacture test specimens in the form of AC-WC mixture and Marshall test to obtain the mixture characteristics and Marshall Immersion test to obtain an Immersion Index (IP) / Index Residual Strength (IKS) / Durability of mixes with optimum asphalt content. The results of the study showed that the characteristics of the pavement material in the form of aggregates from the Mawa river, Cendana District meet the specifications as road surface lining materials. Through the Marshall test the AC-WC mixture characteristics obtained with asphalt content of 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5%, 7% meet the requirements issued by the Directorate General of Highways of the Ministry of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia, General Specifications 2018. Results Marshall Immersion testing of AC-WC mixture at optimum asphalt content of 7% gets an Immersion Index (IP) / Residual Strength Index (IKS) / Durability of a mixture of 94.81% which means it exceeds the boundary requirement of ≥ 90% so the mixture is resistant to immersion in water .

Abstract

This research is intended for testing the characteristics of AC-BASE mixes using Ambeso volcano rock. The method in this study is to conduct a series of rough, fine, and filler aggregate characteristics test and then design an AC-BASE mixture composition and Marshall testing to obtain mixture characteristics and Marshall immertion tests for obtain immersion index (IP) / residual tightness index (IKS) / durability of the optimum asphalt mixture. The results of research conducted at the Road and Asphalt Laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Indonesian Christian University Paulus Makassar, showed that the characteristics of pavement materials in the form of ambeso mountain stone, gandangbatu sillanan sub-district met specifications as road pavement coating materials. Through the Marshall Test obtained the characteristics of a mixture of AC-BASE with asphalt content of 4.5%, 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5%. The results of the Marshall immertion test of Laston AC-BASE mixture with optimum asphalt content of 5% obtained an Immersion Index (IP) / Residual Strength Index (IKS) / Durability of 96.06% meeting the requirements of at least 90%, meet the 2018 Highways Specifications.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the aggregate characteristics of the Bittuang River, determine composition of the AC-WC mixture and find out the Marshall characteristics, the remaining Immersion Index in the AC-WC mixture. The methodology in this research was to conduct a series of characteristics testing in the form of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, fillers,and asphalt and then design a mixture composition then make test specimens in the form of AC-WC and Marshall Conventional testing. The results showed that the aggregate characteristics originating from the Bittuang River, Tana Toraja Regency, for the AC-WC mixture met the spesifications required by the 2018 Bina Marga standards. Based on the design of the composition of the mixture of AC-WC using Bittuang River aggregate is 36.90% coarse aggregate, 50.30% fine aggregate, 5.80% filler, with optimum asphalt content of 7.00%. The results of testing the characteristics of the AC-WC mixture through conventional Marshall tests obtained the characteristics of a mixture derived from meeting the specifications of stability, flow, VIM, and VFB, while for VMA it does not meet the specification requirements 5.00% asphalt content. While the Marshall Immersion test results (Residual Strength Index) on the mixtureof Laston AC-WC using aggregate Bittuang River, Bittuang District Tana Toraja Regency met the General Spesifications of the 2018 Highways, namely 95.03%>90%.
