Abstract

The occurrence of flooding in the Upper Cimanuk Watershed has increased in recent years as a result of the decline in watershed quality due to changes in land use. A flood is the work accumulation of various environmental factors in a watershed. This study aims to identify the level of flood-prone and its determinants in the Cimanuk Hulu watershed. The method used in this study is the overlay method using GIS accompanied by weighting and scores determined by the Composite Mapping Analysis (CMA) model of 6 parameters, consist of Topographic Wetness Index (TWI), Land Use, Rainfall, Slope, Elevation, and Soil type. Flood event points as comparison parameters in determining scores and weights. The results showed that the variable land use was the variable with the highest weight of 27.01, respectively, affecting the level of flood-prone in the study area. The very high prone area includes an area of 1.57%, high prone area of 3.15%, moderate prone area of 5.85%, low prone area of 7.75%, and 81.68% are very low prone areas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran interaktif Google Earth yang berintegrasi data USGS terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 49 Jakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas X.5 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang akan menggunakan aplikasi Google Earth dalam proses pembelajaran dan kelas X.6 sebagai kelas kontrol yang akan menggunakan powerpoint dalam proses pembelajaran. Instrument penelitian ini antara lain: instrument minat belajar siswa (Pre-Test & Post-Test) dan lembar observasi minat belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yakni uji intrumen, uji sebagai prasyarat analisis data, dan uji analisis data. Instrumen penelitian dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, serta data dinyatakan normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perolehan rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 81% berkategori Sangat Baik Sekali dan kelas kontrol sebesar 75% berkategori Sangat Baik. Penggunaan media Google Earth yang berintegrasi dengan data USGS memberikan pengaruh seperti siswa menjadi lebih senang, bersemangat, berantusias dan aktif selama diskusi berlangsung. Analisis data menggunakan uji Independent Sample T-test diperoleh bahwa taraf signifikansi (Sig.) sebesar (0,006 < 0,05), maka H0 ditolak dan HA diterima. Sehingga terdapat pengaruh positif minat belajar siswa di kelas X SMAN 49 Jakarta setelah menggunakan aplikasi Google Earth yang terintegrasi data USGS dalam pembelajaran geografi.
